Read this, reread it, digest it, cause it may spell doom for liberal democracies that don’t

The consistent pattern since the start of the war is Israel escalating as soon as Trump moves toward a TACO or de escalation. It’s flagrant and comes across as intended to humiliate and display dominance.

Luka Doncic is on an insane 435-point scoring 11-game span. Here are the 101 top scoring 11-game spans in NBA history:

During the Iran-Iraq War, the US knew that Iraq was using chemical weapons against Iran almost as soon as it started doing so. However, not only did the Reagan administration do nothing to stop it, but it actually provided diplomatic cover for Iraq at the UN so it wouldn't be condemned after Iran complained. Later in the war, the US even provided targeting information to Iraq, despite knowing full well that it would use them to attack Iranian troops with prohibited chemical weapons. Iranians are not supposed to complain about that though, whereas Americans will continue to talk about the hostage crisis until the heat death of the universe.
History Speaks@History__Speaks

As you know, the '47 year war on America'=1,000 US Soldiers killed in 1983/the 2000s, & dozens of Americans killed in Israel in the Second Intifada or on 7 Oct. (Who weren't targeted because they were American.) (Giving Saddam intel/operational support and even limited arms in the Iran-Iraq War, and invading a neighboring country in 2003 while constantly threatening to invade Iran, weren't provocations on our part.)

Someone brightened a couple of still shots from the Harry Potter TV series trailer. Look how much better it looks with some brightness and color!

"Please tell me more about my dad, Hagrid!" "Of course, Harry. He was friendly, kind. The best Quidditch player ever. Great at magic." "That's so cool!" "I should also mention he and his friends really hated this one student. But never mind that. James was a... grand wizard."

We live in a constant cycle where Trump screws everything up all week and then returns to thunderous applause at Mar-a-Lago in order to get recharged to do it all over again the following week

Iran has no navy, no air force, no air defenses, their top 50 leaders are dead, and an Iranian faction gave Trump 10 oil tankers as a gift. But a lot of (highly-respected) right-wing posters are declaring defeat for America. This is starting to get delusional.

So far from US strategic perspective: - destroyed its basing in the region - shown allies they can’t protect them - lost control of the strait of Hormuz - risks the petrodollar - destroyed the energy portfolio of its global allies, from Europe to East Asia This is a disaster.

“Many of the 13 military bases in the region used by American troops are all but uninhabitable, with the ones in Kuwait, which is next door to Iran, suffering perhaps the most damage.” -NYT just now First MSM admission I’ve seen of this fact

The irony is that Twitter used to have famous people, up to and including the president of the United States, putting valuable content on here for absolutely nothing. Then they changed it to give you a pittance for every view, and wonder why it’s being crowded out by engagement farming, low-quality accounts who post on whatever with no connection to the countries or topics being discussed.
Nikita Bier@nikitabier

For a random person signing up in France: Their very first timeline will likely include Trump ragebait and Silicon Valley chatter. We can’t continue to incentivize the same kind of posts forever—and not try to expand our inventory. The network will never grow. It will proceed to be a monoculture with a handful of countries rationally spamming the replies of those posts to get $30/week.
