The Trump administration hasn’t used this line yet (as far as I’ve seen).
But just a warning. This will not work. Republicans will be laughed to defeat in November if they try to claim current gas prices are about price “gouging”

Guys, there is nothing left to buy.
You can’t fly airplanes without pilots, and even if an investor gave Spirit another lifeline tomorrow, not enough will stay.
Airlines are not linear exercises. You can’t just scale down and be fine. The *right* scale is what makes profit.

Hear me out: we have a $15 billion surplus. What if we used less than 1% to buy Spirit Airlines and call it Georgia Airlines? Profits go back to Georgia tax payers. We keep an affordable airline. Costs stay low because the user is also the shareholder. And, we get to tell people to “fly Georgia.”
