@LJTLatham @samkn3n Yes - im a massive advocate for making streets look more inviting. There is a disconnect between what the community and what the council want, however. Both in action, and in monetary terms. More people need to chip in, IMHO.

@Perry88CFC @samkn3n Good to know! In fairness I was speaking more generally than specifically about Merton. Lots of UK highstreets that just are not prepared for the challenges the next few decades will bring to keeping people willing and able to come into town and spend.

@Badgeration @samkn3n Admittedly im west, so we have the LDs. Does seem that more of the funding ends up in the East Lab held constituencies though.

@Perry88CFC @samkn3n I suppose if Siobhain Mcdonagh redirected her post bill to the project, it's possible.

@Badgeration @samkn3n This section has been transformed, as in the picture, as part of a wider scheme by the council across the area. There is also strict guidance for future shopfronts and developments.

@Perry88CFC @samkn3n Any kind of confirmation? Forgive me, I used to go to school in this area and I find it difficult to believe Northborough Road has been transformed, let alone by Merton council.

@LJTLatham @samkn3n To be fair, Merton council have one of the biggest tree planting schemes in London.

@samkn3n The awnings are significant. If we're to keep highstreets alive we have to adapt them to rising temps by planting, literally, fuck-loads of trees and creating shade with these awnings. In snow, we grit. In rain, we built drains. In heat? Currently nothing.

@TouchlineX @RMCsport Lens should turn up for the game ready to play, and then not turn up or agree to any revised fixture. Allow the league to put themselves in a bad position of having to dock other teams, and the support of one team.

@SCTMeadSundays @SamAFC27 @CraigHope_DM It takes some serious balls to admit in an open forum that your brain is so mush you can only consume content that has been repackaged in to a video, when the words are literally in the original post.

@Betchrider @stonkypaul @DeanWoodward Exactly. The issue here is it wasn't registering how often the winner was paid, not whether there's a winner. Its just calculated at a percentage of bets. That failed, therefore its highly unlikely they will be able to sidestep paying out the winnings. And; fuck betting companies

Imagine winning £141,897 but only being offered 11% of that 😭😭😭 Jackpots of £236k, £175k, £142k and more on William Hills Jackpot Drop game a few days ago. Now the bookies are demanding it back. The classic goodwill gesture? 11% 🤣

@stonkypaul @DeanWoodward Yes, they did all win. They bet their money, the system said they won. The fact they are claiming a glitch was the issue is irrelevant, and has been proven to be irrelevant in previous court cases on the matter.

@Perry88CFC @DeanWoodward They didn’t all “win” though, did they. They all won jackpots around the same time and wouldn’t be hard to prove the glitch in the system made it happen. The margins what the game pays will have been smashed, maybe by 100,000s % within a few hours. No chance they’re getting paid

@stonkypaul @DeanWoodward Each punter is individual in winnings and losses. The fact they all won shouldn't have any baring on the case. And it won't be the bookies that pays it anyway, it'll be an insured loss against the technology firm. But their premium is going to get boosted.

@DeanWoodward Ye I remember mate, but I think they were separate cases and one person winning, which surely has to happen, as it’s fixed to fuck as it is, but someone has to win big. But there’s fuckers everywhere that have won from 200k to 5k, and if tha 2-300m is right there’s no chance

Said El Mala is like Morgan Rogers without paying a hefty £85m, one of Europe's most direct attackers. Chelsea should've signed that profile of Winger last season, but got Gittens and Garnacho instead. Now pay for the best, or leave it.

Boehly is one of the few people that can save Chelsea, fell out with Clearlake, didn't agree with their model. As interim director, Sterling, Raphinha, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Aubameyang, he went for real experience. Not Sarr, Garnacho, Delap.

@TheScore01 How have you not put in any sale prices? And the ones that are still here hold value. Tosin. Is he a starter for Chelsea? No. Will he sell for more than £0. Yes. You can't say capital is wasted because it isn't realised.

Being really harsh, we’ve wasted about £694m of the money spent. This doesn’t include KDH who did a decent job for us. It does include Wes. Includes Garnacho but I still think there’s a player there. Best in class SDs you know. £700m wasted. No one wastes money like them.
