Buzzing to let you guys know that I’ve joined @wpt_global They reached out to me with their plans for Poker in Ireland and I was SOLD. Poker is the greatest game ever invented and there is simply no better country to play live poker in than Ireland. Excited to travel around the country and meet my fellow punters. Day to day I’ll still be grinding online and after a few months of playing across all the sites - I promise you - there ain’t softer games out there than on WPT Global. I have not seen the like of it since 2008! SEE YOU AT THE TABLES!

I feel weird announcing that I've left PokerStars. It's been such a huge part of my life that it only feels right to say something. PokerStars made my dreams come true. It was simply too good to be real life. They paid me to fly around the world and play Poker with my best mates. The duo streams with Benjy were the most fun I've had in my life "working". Popping me into $5ks and $10ks for fun during lockdown gave me opportunities I never would have had otherwise! (that $5k SCOOP win pretty much bought my first apartment!) There's so many people behind the scenes that I'll miss that have become to feel like a family at the live events. I can't thank everyone but want to give a shoutout to Scotty, May, Robin and Brandon! My time at the company has run it's course and that's why I've decided to move on but I'll forever be grateful for the opportunity. What a fucking spin-up it was. GG

Day 15 - WCOOP Journal 2025 Results = - $4,580 WCOOP Total = -$33,138 Time Played = 107 Hours 10 Minutes Morale is low. Confidence is low. Kinda wish I hadn't started this thread. Played poorly on Wednesday and Thursday in too many spots. Just not good enough. There's every chance I'd have got showered this series anyway but regretting how the prep played out pretty badly right now. Confidence in Poker is quite fickle. It can change drastically month to month. Sometimes day to day. Maybe even hour to hour in some sessions! It shouldn't but it does. Two full sessions to put my best foot forward. If you're getting smashed - you're not alone but you could save it all this weekend! If you've been crushing - ride that momentum and enjoy every moment - these weekends can be life changing. Day 1 - WCOOP Journal 2025. My preperation for WCOOP could not have gone worse. The plan was post EPT Barcelona was to stream once or twice and study HEAPS. Instead my whole family got whacked by a brutal flu. Instead of feeling sharp, I'm feeling fragile and unprepared. Some people will aruge that a week extra of study won't make much of a difference. For me personally, when I'm study, I'm just way more confident going into every session. Maybe I'm not learning new concepts but I second guess less, I move on from hands quicker because I know I've tried my best. I'm writing this journal for myself. To keep me accountable and not allow a bad start to turn into a bad series. I'm not going to be writing deep meaningful posts each day - I'll save that for my actual journal - but I'll post my daily results and hands that I find interesting. Possibly some thoughts post session here and there. The next 6 weeks with WCOOP + EPT Barcelona are going to decide if I have my first ever losing year. It's not entirely in my control but I need to do some very simple things - every day. - Study - Exercise - Walk my dog - Have fun playing Last one is most important - it's not lost on me how silly it is that I get to play this game for a living. It's time to win my first WCOOP title. GL out there.
