In Addis Ababa, #Ethiopia our volunteer distributed food packets, offering a simple yet nourishing meal of rice, lentils, and water. In the spirit of #Ramadan, this initiative reflected gratitude, remembrance, and the true essence of giving during the blessed month.

Following the recent visit of His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin to Sheopur, #MadhyaPradesh, infrastructure upgrades have been undertaken at Sheopur District Hospital under @ProjectRiseDB. The initiative aims to enhance patient care, ease pressure on facilities, and benefit nearly 500 patients each month. The inauguration of this facility was marked in the presence of senior local officials, including Dr. Dilip Sikarwar (CMHO) and Dr. R.B. Goyal (Civil Surgeon), reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening public healthcare. @Bohras_India

Every Ramadan, our @ProjectRiseDB volunteers in Chittagong, #Bangladesh visit the Upalabdhi Foundation — a tradition we have continued for years, striving to support the homeless. This year, we continued to extend that support by sharing clothes, time, and laughter!

Grateful to welcome @HCI_Ottawa Acting High Commissioner of India H.E. Mr. Chimnoy Naik, MP @brucefanjoy, Ottawa City Councillor @RiverWardRiley, Isabelle Skalski, and @canadianlabour Executive Directors Tim and Tara to a #Ramadan #iftar with the #DawoodiBohra #Ottawa community. Together we also supported a @ProjectRiseDB food donation drive for Ottawa Food Bank, reflecting shared values of responsibility, compassion, and service to those in need.

We’re honoured to have been recognised by the @uaefoodbank with the Golden Waqf designation at their Annual Ceremony. A special thanks to the Director General of the @DMunicipality, H.E. Eng. Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, for highlighting the #DawoodiBohra community’s dedicated efforts through @ProjectRiseDB in enhancing food security, facilitating asset donation, and leading extensive feeding campaigns during this #Ramadan.

Grateful to @CityofMcKinney Mayor Bill Cox, former Mayor George Fuller, City Council Members Justin Beller and Patrick Cloutier, City Manager Paul Grimes, Pastor Mally Baum, and community partners who joined the #DawoodiBohra community of #CollinCounty for a Ramadan iftar. Guests toured the masjid complex, learned about the community’s ongoing efforts in health and wellness through @ProjectRiseDB, and shared a traditional meal together. We hope to continue working together in service of the broader McKinney community.

Alongside @EdenFood4Change, the #Mississauga #DawoodiBohra community was honoured to host a #Ramadan Iftar dinner with @MppGualtieri and Staff Supt. Hubert @Hiltz1847 focused on addressing local food insecurity. Breaking our fast together allowed for reflection on those facing hunger not by religious obligation, but by circumstance—a call to action we hope to collectively carry forward.

In #Iringa, our @ProjectRiseDB volunteers distributed iftar meals among local neighbours. Inspired by the vision of His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, volunteers emphasized that feeding others is a vital act of humanity. @Dawoodi_Bohras

During #Ramadan, @Dawoodi_Bohras in #MiltonKeynes came together to support families in need through a food donation to @mkfoodbank . Essential supplies were collected and delivered, helping replenish stocks when they were running low. @ProjectRiseDB #communitysupport #foodbank

Grateful to welcome @MontCoExec Marc Elrich, representatives from @GovWesMoore’s cabinet, the Governor’s Liaison for Asian American Affairs, officials from @MontgomeryCoMD and @HowardCountyGov, leaders from So What Else Inc, and members of the Tanzanian Embassy for a Ramadan iftar with the #DawoodiBohra community of #WashingtonDC. The evening highlighted our community’s global engagement and local service through @ProjectRiseDB initiatives focused on education, food security, and social upliftment. We were especially inspired by remarks from So What Else Inc's CEO Dave Silbert on the importance of collective responsibility in strengthening our communities.

Our Project Rise volunteers and MSB Educational Institute alumni travelled 41 km to Mkamba Primary School in Kisarawe II, #Kigamboni, to serve meals to 840 students. Along with food came conversations, laughter, and encouragement. @Bohras_EAfrica

With Ramadan arriving, young children of the #DawoodiBohra #NewJersey community turned compassion into love in action 🤍 In collaboration with Elijah’s Promise — which serves more than 375,000 free meals each year — our children helped prepare packets that will be shared with neighbors in need. Along the way, they learned about the importance of giving and service, discovering how small hands can make a big difference.

Smiles all around at Onaiza Orphanage, #Zanzibar Our @ProjectRiseDB volunteers with Saifee Hospital provided dental check-ups for every child, arranging follow-ups where needed. Grateful to support their health journey!

At Bingley Bog North, @Dawoodi_Bohras volunteers came together for a meaningful morning of tree planting. Honoured by the presence of @SHinchcliffe, Cllr Susan Fricker, local police volunteers, @BradfordHindu, @Addingham_Group, @NaturalEngland & other community reps.
