@BrewhouseSports @CardPurchaser Sorry I should clarify. It sucks for collectors, barely any cool art cards that’ll gain value. Theory is it’s aimed at people who actually play the game but I don’t actually know any of them to ask if it’s any good or not
English

@BrewhouseSports @CardPurchaser This set mainly sucks and no one’s worked out those mini binders come with phantasmal flames.
English

Am I dreaming???
Wait did Pokemon crash? I thought people were committing misdemeanors over this stuff.
@CardPurchaser

English

@CardGameNomad Fair. I collect for cool cards and am debating giving that and gem 1 a miss. Currently opening up way too much gem 3
English

@PupperSlick There are 27 other Pokemon featured in the set for people who just collect for the love of the sport
English

Holy crap, this price is kinda insane!
Gem 4 booster boxes for $28.69 shipped from Poke Unlimited, a top rated US based seller.
This is an amazing price for those looking to chase Ponyta or just open some fun boxes.

RRP per 3 tins is £45 (so you save £6) and each tin has:
1 Destined rivals
1 Journey together

Pokémon Deals, Stock & News UK@pokemondealsuk
Now the another set of tins should be availabe, maybe only showing for the ones that they have in save for later but it should refresh amzn.to/3NVqo00 ad
English

@PokemonStockUK You’re dangerous. I got one of the charazard tins from very yesterday, I just got the other one from sports direct and Sainsbury’s last night had…before someone calls me a scalper theyve been opened already and cards pulled. Never forget loot boxes are gambeling.

@BeskInfinity Age verification is code for linked to government ID. It’s about everyone being trackable and traceable, fuck privacy or security.
English

Why the fuck does everything need an age verification these days?
GTA 6 Countdown ⏳@GTAVI_Countdown
Rockstar Games will require age verification for GTA Online starting next week in Australia. This will roll out to more regions over the coming months and will also apply to GTA 6’s Online mode when it launches. (Source: rockstarintel.com/age-verificati…)

@GarrittyOf @GenAI_is_real @InverseMarcus As of this argument then why did you ever switch? Go back to the 486, problem solved yeah?
English

@GenAI_is_real @InverseMarcus If you look at functionality per $ spent on RAM, things are fine. My old 486 with 4MB RAM could browse the web fine. That seems quaint now.
The weird thing is that my MacBook Pro in 2012 had 16GB RAM, and I would have expected that to also seem quaint by now.
English

unpopular take: 8GB is not the problem, software bloat is. i used an 8GB mac for years and it was fine because the programs were lean. now a browser tab takes 500MB and an electron app eats 1GB just to show you a text editor. we kept throwing more RAM at the problem instead of writing efficient software. if the industry spent half the energy on optimization that it spends on adding features, 8GB would be plenty in 2026. the real question isnt why apple ships 8GB, its why we need 32GB to run a chat app @steipete
Peter Steinberger 🦞@steipete
The new MacBook Neo has 8GB unified memory? Rough.
English

@GenAI_is_real The go use windows 95. You won’t even need a gig of ram
English

@hollywoodscifi You can actually see the original versions already via superb unofficial 4k edits/restorations. Google 4K77, 4K80, 4K83.
English

@EdenAvih no, you can graphic design on Figma, video editing on after effect (tho I admit it’s super laggy, was not a pleasant experience on my cracked version lol), run photoshop more or less ok, you can seriously multitask
the phone chip is apparently on the same ballpark as the M1-M2
English

No, an 8GB of ram laptop is not “only for web browsing”
you can code with it
you can do graphic design
you can do video editing
you can run photoshop
you can multitask
Tech bros are subject to a massive bias where not a single one of them has tried an 8 GB of RAM computer in the last 5 to 10 years because they all default to thinking they’re unusable when they’re actually perfectly fine.
it’s fine. mostly.
Kent C. Dodds ⚡@kentcdodds
An 8GB MacBook is not for you. It's for people who just use the computer as a browser device
English

@AeldorThalion @thefuzzstone Oh entirely true, I’m not saying one company is more suspect than another. But if I was a government I’d spend more time any money on phones made and pre-installed with graphineOS than adding extra hardware to every pixel device that gets made. Would you target Nokia or anom?
English

@PupperSlick @thefuzzstone As if goolag is not morally questionable. The alternatives are in the EU which is also a dictatorship.
English

So, what many of us have been waiting for has finally happened: GrapheneOS has announced the creation of an alternative to Google Pixel, the "GrapheneOS Phone".
To be honest, I secretly hoped that the partnership would be with OnePlus, because OnePlus makes high-quality devices with 10-year-old displays that are better than Pixel 9 and Pixel 10.
But I am encouraged by the fact that Motorola was the first to approach GrapheneOS.
The guys need sales, and they need something to stand out from the crowd.
Come on, how many Motorola models can you remember without using a search engine? I can remember the Motorola v70, Motorola C115, and of course the iconic Motorola Razr v3.
And what better way to stand out from the crowd than a partnership with GrapheneOS?
----
I believe in the holy power of networking.
And I'm sure that some of you know someone who knows someone, and so on, all the way up to someone at Motorola.
Please tell Motorola's management that they have a unique opportunity to boost their sales in a big way, and that they should make a high-quality device with a high-quality display (which, by the way, Pixel has always lacked) so that it is not only safe to use, but also enjoyable.
Thank you.

English

@PupperSlick @Kaylaycab @Vtxt21 @grok They cannot force you to unlock your phone. Just turn off your phone before you get arrested. It wil be harder to crack. @grok confirm
English

@vertile1913 @Kaylaycab @Vtxt21 @grok ^this but also you need a pretty up to date iOS version. Bfu cracks take longer but think everything but the iOS 26 is advertised as “working” at the moment
