Young fella from Laois just joined my staff, and I kinda feel sorry for that generation, the whole office culture of craic and after-work drinks is gone post-Covid, early 20s, first real job, were great times for me, made friends for life.

My after-school, pre-teatime viewing was utterly blighted by Mrs Jessop and her ilk ... I can well believe this sudsy saga had over 1100 half hour episodes ... and RTÉ aired every blasted one of 'em ...
