On Sky News, John Rees from Stop the War Coalition just completely dismantled the ridiculous claim that the pro-Palestine peace marches have anything whatsoever to do with the Golders Green attack.

In Hastings yesterday several Reform UK disruptors showed up to a Green Party rally. One of them was filmed making multiple Nazi salutes. Reform UK are infested with Nazis and antisemites, but the media seemingly aren’t interested in them. Why?

Zack Polanski’s intervention is not just misguided – it is frankly disgraceful. Police officers were dealing with a violent attacker armed with a knife, who had just stabbed two people in the street, and was refusing to surrender his weapon. In those moments, their job is to stop the threat and protect the public, and by all accounts that is exactly what they did. For a national political leader to second-guess those officers, amplify unverified claims, and undermine confidence in policing in the immediate aftermath is deeply irresponsible. It sends entirely the wrong signal at a time when the Jewish community, targeted here and in the past few weeks – are looking to the police for protection and reassurance. Polanski should withdraw those comments and apologise. Criticising officers who have just put themselves in harm’s way to stop further bloodshed is not principled politics – it is reckless, and he ought to be ashamed of himself.

I love the U.K., a man can run around the streets stabbing people for being Jewish, and the issue people debate is whether the police officers trying to remove the knife from him used excessive force. Proof that we will do absolutely anything to avoid addressing antisemitism.

@misanthropicc92 Apparently up to 60 people a year are killed by the mentally ill but it’s rarely linked to race or religion.

In 2023, 61 year old Hubert ‘Isaac’ Brown was fatally stabbed in Bristol during a racist attack by a mentally ill woman. Did you hear about it? Probably not. Did it receive wall-to-wall coverage in the media? Nope. Was it even headline news? Nope. Go figure.

Have to agree with @ZackPolanski on this one, why the need to kick someone in the head who is already on the ground?

No mention of the far-right hanging out their flags in Golders Green then @BBCNews
