@EndgameaiChess The sun has set on the Age of Magnus Carlsen unless he deigns to come out of semi-retirement to try and stop Sindarov. And good riddance to that with Magnus's table-banging antics and rudely keeping entire tournaments waiting on him to show up on time.

🇳🇴 Magnus Carlsen on Sindarov’s incredible start: Carlsen said Sindarov was always a dangerous dark horse, but this goes far beyond expectations. “I think it was possible to guess that he was one of the main… dark horses there, but I mean nobody expects you to go 4.5/5.” Even by Candidates standards, this kind of start is extraordinary.

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

“The rate at which some Fulani people are so confident is alarming. How can a Fulani man enter someone’s compound, see a beautiful tree, cut it down, and feed it to his cows? When the woman questioned him, he said ‘why not? my cows are hungry.’ She asked him to leave, he refused. Even the vigilante told him to go, he still refused, until things escalated and he was sh0t. That incident led to retaliation in the Marhaba att@ck. They came back bûtchèrèd people, bûrnt down houses. A friend of mine also said when he planted sweet potatoes, Fulani herders would bring their cows to eat the leaves. So he fenced his house, yet they still came knocking, asking him to open the gate so their cows could feed. The bus I entered yesterday, the driver said his brother went to his farm only to meet them in the middle of his farm feeding their cows his plants. He turn back 360 and reported to the police who said they can't do anything about it because they are afraid of being butchered as the Fulanis were with Ak47 so he had to leave them to eat his crops. Who gave you that power? Who gave you the authority to scare people? Why are you dèstr0ying people crops? And you people will sell these cow after I have fed them with my crops. Many of these people don't even eat cows. If you want to rear cow, rear it alone. Make sure you have food for them. Stop carrying them everywhere, littering the ground with p00p. Does that make sense to you” — Fulani lady shares claim about rising tensions between farmers and herders in parts of Nigeria, citing incidents of farm destrûction and confrontations

An imam ordered the killing of a preacher in Nigeria. Eunice Olawale was a deaconess at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Kubwa, Abuja. She was a mother of seven children. Every single morning at 5am, before her family woke up, she would walk out into the dark streets of Abuja with a megaphone and a Bible to preach. Nigerians call it "morning cry." Weeks before she died, she came home and told her husband that men from a nearby mosque were unhappy with her preaching. Her husband warned her to be careful. She went back out the next morning anyway. On July 9, 2016, she left the house at 5am as usual. By 5:30am, neighbours heard her voice fade mid-sentence. Then they heard her screaming "Blood of Jesus" repeatedly. When they found her, she was lying in a pool of blood on the street with stab wounds to her stomach and cuts to her neck. Her Bible was beside her. Her megaphone was beside her. Her phone was beside her. They took nothing. The only intention was to kill her. Her husband drove to the police station with two of his children and at the gate he saw a pickup van leaving with his wife's lifeless body in the back. Eight people were arrested. Six were released immediately. Five months later, police had not named a single suspect publicly. The local Imam admitted he sent young men to chase her away from the street but denied telling them to kill her. Nobody was ever charged. Nobody was ever tried. Nobody was ever convicted. Two years after her murder, her family was still publicly begging for answers. A woman killed in broad daylight with her Bible in her hand, and her killers are still free. 💔 🇳🇬

A few days ago, someone predicted that she was more likely to be punished than the problem being fixed. Can't remember who. The person was right.

“I’m the girl that posted about the hospital at Uwani about the light issu£s. Sadly, I have been given an indefinite suspension. And now ve been rem0ved from my clinical duties. Now I want to ask Nigerians: Did they do anything wr0ng? I never posted their video to bring the government down or to paint them b@d. Only did that to bring their attention to the issues, which luckily have been attended to. I am so br0ken Nigerians. NEW: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has taken steps to block or delay promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers across all four branches of the military, some of whom are seen as having been targeted because of their race, gender or perceived affiliation with Biden administration policies or officials, according to nine U.S. officials familiar with the process. nbcnews.com/politics/natio…

During today’s bombardment of Tehran, the residential home of Kamal Kharrazi was struck by U.S.-Israeli aircraft. His wife was killed in the attack. Dr. Kharrazi himself was seriously injured, hospitalized, and is said to be in a coma. A former foreign minister - now reduced to a casualty in his own home. After strikes on military sites, police stations, schools, and hospitals, the destruction has now reached private residences. The line between battlefield and civilian space appears to have collapsed entirely - where even elderly family members are no longer spared. A grim descent - where the optics of power give way to scenes that speak less of strategy and more of disgrace.

You know what’s crazy, this occurrence won’t change the modus operandi of the security apparatus and by extension the executive arm of government involved in causing her death. To them it’s just another Tuesday and life goes on. And that’s why we’re such a bottom barrel society, at all levels.

Courtroom thrown into chaos as a woman reportedly died after collapsing during a court session. The woman had been arrested by the NDLEA in Edo three months ago and was allegedly held in their custody without arraignment for three months. Reports claim she fell ill in custody and repeatedly requested medical attention but was ignored. She later collapsed in a Federal High Court and was confirmed dead.

Noise growing around United’s interest in Lewis-Skelly. I’m not sure how realistic a move from Arsenal is but he’s the type of player any top club would benefit from. That said, though he can play there (speaks to his intelligence and versatility), he’s not a left-back for me.
SCOOP.@AcademyScoop

Myles Lewis-Skelly is a marvellous footballer. It’s been a joy watching his development over the last couple of years. I hope we get to see him and Mainoo running England’s midfield together in the not too distant future.

I will not be reacting to any music of a Nazi. Whether current or former. I can’t just accept his “apologies” (that conveniently come eveytime he about to drop somethin) and act like I forget this man was a FULL BLOWN HITLER LOVER. And NO MATTER how much he entertained me at one point of my life, it will NOT undo that. My need to be entertained doesn’t TRUMP my people or those morals. No artist is perfect, but I draw the line in Attackin Kids, Wearin KKK gear to do an interview and supporting a man who would have thrown us and our children in a fire to wiped out our whole race without a 2nd thought. Might cover news about him but the music is No for me dog. But To each they own. 🤷🏾‍♂️
