This isn’t a win. Taxpayers are now paying to bail out people in medical debt. Those who pay their medical bills must pay for themselves AND everyone else who doesn’t pay. You’re erasing debt by draining your own pockets. And what kind of precedent does this set? This teaches people to not pay their medical bills so they’ll get bailed out by taxpayers.
