Cavil is *forever* how I see and appreciate Superman. I like Snyder’s films and appreciate his artistic vision.
Gunn made a couple of good movies, but he’s just such a walking bundle of burning sticks. His real problem is that his core being is still a wayward 19-year-old nerd trying to impress girls by being sensitive and sentimental.

This video frustrates me because you can clearly see David Corenswet was born to play Superman.
He had all the potential... only to be directed into a version that mistakes empathy for yelling, outbursts, and forced quirky moments.

You can see Corenswets take on Clark Was vastly different (and better imo) in his screen test. Clearly a more calm & collected Clark Kent reminiscent of reeves, routh, & cavills previous portrayals. Much like your example You can see Gunns fingerprints all over it in the finished product. From the screaming dialogue to the goofy perm. It’s definitely NOT what corenswet had in mind.

Batman V Superman fight is like anything you have seen before. Their punch cause Sonic Boom while getting hit, they are already out of Humanity league. That is whats make it special. This was what i couldn't see in DCU. cheap knockoff fights. #RestoreTheSnyderverse

Lex had just executed an innocent person in front of him
