Me: I’m so sorry about that, let me check for you.

Me: I can see two charges, but one is still pending and will reverse automatically.
Customer: No, I want my money now.
Me: I understand, but it’ll drop off shortly…
Customer: So you’re telling me to wait??
Me: Just a little while, yes.
Customer: This is why I hate this company.
Me (still calm somehow): I completely understand your frustration…
Customer: Okay but can you hurry it up?
Me: …it’s literally pending 😭
