The theft occurred on March 19, just days before election day "During the search of [John] Panicci's home, detectives recovered the stolen items along with a substantial amount of electronic and digital storage devices. Fentanyl Found in Barbie Dolls at Discount Store in Missouri Police say fentanyl was discovered inside Barbie doll packages sold at a discount store in Independence, Missouri. The Independence Police Department was alerted on Saturday by Cargo Largo security after a suspicious powder was found inside one of the doll packages. Tests later confirmed the substance was fentanyl. Authorities worked with the store and determined that five Barbie doll packages containing the drug had been sold, all of which were recovered within hours.
