NEW: Pakistan immigrant fatally shot by Houston police after charging at officers with butcher knife
On April 1, 2026, Houston Police responded after a witness in the lobby reported seeing a man in the parking lot making “jabbing motions” with a butcher knife.
Gaziani’s wife later told arriving officers her husband was inside the apartment armed with a knife and making threats.
As officers approached the upstairs unit, Gaziani charged out of the doorway toward them holding a large butcher knife.
Three officers opened fire, striking and killing him.

Jailhouse interview from 2008 resurfaces, showing James Broadnax admitting to murdering Christian-music producers Stephen Swan and Matthew Butler.
Broadnax was executed in Texas this week for the horrific murders.
"I decided to go hit a lick. You know what I'm sayin'? And one of the best spots to go because that's why all the rich white folks stay at, know what I'm sayin'? So got caught, caught a m'fah slippin', sh*t and popped his b*tch a**," he said at the time.
Broadnax, now 37, died by lethal injection.

NEW: Woman screams "I love you" and has to be helped out of prison after her husband was executed in Texas for killing two people. James Broadnax's wife, British law graduate Tiana Krasniqi, reportedly screamed and banged against the window as he was executed. She reportedly began a relationship with Broadnax after writing to him while he was in prison. Krasniqi claims her husband, whom she married just a few weeks ago, did not commit the crimes; however, prosecutors say he admitted to the killings in jailhouse interviews. Broadnax was convicted of killing two men during a robbery in Dallas, Texas, in 2008. "They killed my husband," Krasniqi said. "My husband suffered so bad from the lethal injection that he had a nosebleed and bruising on his neck. The families laughed as they watched. Is that justice?" She is now threatening to "expose everyone."

In Normandy in 1944 the Germans had "static" divisions along the coast.
No transport, except maybe some horses and wagons.
Their orders were to basically die in place and act as a speedbump.
A lot of these units were Czechs, Ukrainians, Poles and other nationalities that had been prisoners of war but pressed into service on the front line.
Naturally, they surrendered pretty easily.
