@Mel_ReidTimes@timesscotland@TimesMagazine So glad to hear this. There's been a little hole in all our Saturday mornings while you've been away. You make us feel like friends, sharing your insights into the realities of living with long-term disability, making us laugh and sometime making us cry.
@willquince If you sleep with dogs you get fleas. Well done for doing the decent thing; amazing that it took so long for you to see the moral vacuum at the heart of this government.
With great sadness and regret, I have this morning tendered my resignation to the Prime Minister after I accepted and repeated assurances on Monday to the media which have now been found to be inaccurate.
I wish my successor well - it is the best job in government.
@willquince@BorisJohnson As a constituent and a local employer I am appalled at this. Johnson is a mendacious, self-serving fool who has been elevated way beyond his capability. He has dragged the Conservative party into the gutter and I am saddened that you fail to see this.
My constituents want and deserve their Government focusing on our economy, the cost of living and the war in Ukraine.
I continue to back @BorisJohnson as Prime Minister as we continue delivering on the priorities of the British people.
Let's get on with the job.

@ArianeTodes@Mel_ReidTimes I so agree. Once again the brilliant @Mel_ReidTimes puts into words the frustrations of navigating the digital world for those who cannot click, swipe and type.
As someone who occasionally gets trapped in online security mechanisms on behalf of my nonagenarian mother, I found @Mel_ReidTimes piece today very moving and angry-making.
@Becca_JF21@VOCES8@AAMorchestra@thetimes Totally agree - what a stunning performance. Add that to the beautiful performance of Faure's Requiem and it almost makes up for Saturday's "Messiah". Live from London was head and shoulders above the BBC.
@FloraEGill I loved everything your Dad wrote. Sundays have never quite been the same since her died. Ignore the idiots who don't have a fraction of the talent your father shared with us.
When this is over, what say we all pitch in and buy health care workers, couriers, hauliers, farmers, millers, grocers, bakers, sewage workers, power workers, teachers, fire fighters and police officers a bottle of something?
