The UK should do exactly the same thing. The World Health Organization has lost all credibility since the pandemic, has got it wrong too many times and is another globalist, nannying structure that is no longer serving the interests of the British people. And we would save £140m annually. Time to defund the WHO.

Not as a I recall. They said it was untrue for the govt + Remain to say outside the EU the UK would lose “access to the Single Market” (it was indeed untrue to say this) - and they explicitly said they wanted U.K. domestic regulation to diverge from that required when exporting to the SM. (Ref: Vote Leave Briefing - “Leave Looks Like…”)
