Our latest on the situation in 📍#Gaza and #WestBank: 🔹 In Gaza all crossings except Kerem Shalom remain closed, and only limited aid is entering. Shortages of essential goods, medicines, and spare parts are increasing, affecting basic services. 🔹 Strong winds and a sandstorm on 14 March damaged makeshift shelters across the Gaza Strip, exposing displaced people to heightened health risks. 🔹 Israeli authorities have expanded the militarised “Orange Line” in Gaza, placing additional UNRWA installations — including shelters hosting displaced people — within restricted areas requiring coordinated access. Despite ongoing challenges, UNRWA provides continuity of learning for 48,000 children in the occupied #WestBank. For more than 4,100 forcibly displaced children in the northern West Bank, UNRWA runs emergency education through temporary learning spaces in UNRWA and other facilities, online classes and self-learning activities. #UNRWAworks

In #Gaza, almost 600 classrooms across UNRWA emergency shelters are hosting learning activities for children, including 820 children with disabilities. #UNRWAworks to continue providing essential education to children across the Gaza Strip, despite severe access restrictions.

In #Lebanon, 14 UNRWA health clinics remain operational while 12 had to close due to the security context. By 10 March, UNRWA had provided 14,562 medical consultations since the start of the emergency, including 1,439 for displaced persons at UNRWA’s operational clinics and 99 for displaced persons at Siblin emergency shelter. #UNRWAworks
