Grace McAlinden (Unattached) secured 1st place in the ladies race at our Rathlin Run 10 mile Race. In 2nd place, we had the ever consistent Niamh Marrs of Glens Runners. Christina McQuillan of Springell RC claimed 3rd place!

In our Rathlin Run 10 mile Race, Matthew McLean (Unattached) was crowned 2025 champion with an excellent win! Gerard McAleese (Ballycastle Runners) claimed 2nd place, while Keith Dawson (Lagan Valley AC) secured 3rd place!

In the ladies race at our Rathlin Run 5k, it was a Ballymena Runners clean sweep of the podium - Naomi Hutchinson lead the way in 1st place. Just behind, club mate Emma Lamberton took 2nd place. Noleen McKillop completed the podium in 3rd place!

In our Rathlin Run 5k, Joshua Blair of Ballymena Runners takes the men’s title! Gary Patterson (Glenlough RC) took 2nd place, with Donal Ryan (Unattached) claiming 3rd place!

@chrispintstout Hey @chrispintstout - I hope you are well! 😊 Sorry, I’m just seeing this now. It’s such a compliment. I really loved my time guiding @NiRunning but I think there are people in better positions now to deliver this kind of stuff - I do think it is needed to promote our sport!

In the week leading up the NI & Ulster Senior xc champs it’s a timely reminder of how privileged we had it with @RyanSwfc doing pre race write ups & race reports from every race across Ireland. Any chance of a one off comeback? Especially given seniors is back in Lurgan.

As coaches, all we ever try to do is make a difference; help athletes to enjoy sport and progress! This was such a lovely surprise and gesture from a young athlete. Feeling privileged to be part of a great team at @EastCoastAC !

@scullionONsport I said pretty much the same to my friend group tonight Andy! Tonight’s performance was incredible and I think this group of players will take NI to a level we haven’t seen in our time, but there will be bumps along the way! They’re young! The key is consistent support! 😊

Never pays to get too excited when it comes to NI and we'll probs have the odd bad result now and again, but with the likes of Conor Bradley, Shea Charles, Isaac Price etc, there's definitely enough to give us some hope. All of them are no age too.

Boys and girls, I have seen NI play A LOT OF TIMES, and seen us tonk proper minnows 4s and 5s, countries the size of Council areas, not a proper country that has been to World Cups and stuff. A complete performance, took them to the cleaners. Magnificent.
