Today I restarted art journaling— a working through the grief of loss journal, to take the place of the “great for 80” journal I closed when Reg died just over a month ago. Happy to be able to create again.

Thanks to Gudule for images of the top 3 women finishers in the Rio women's 800m. Each was unfairly deprived of the moment of glory for which they had strived most of their lives. 10 years on from the debacle, I offer my cheers to Melissa Bishop, Joanna Jozwick & Lynsey Sharp.

If a small, not very athletic 18yr man says he feels like a 12yr old boy, do you think it’s ok for him to compete in the under 12 sports races & competitions? I mean he says ‘he feels he’s 12 & look, I’m not very good, so it must be ok?’ Categories need to be based on reality

I’m still celebrating the fact that men can’t punch women in the face in the Olympics anymore.

No one has banned trans athletes from any sport. Men have simply been banned from cheating by falsely claiming to be women to win women’s sporting prizes. Everyone is free to compete in their own sex category.
