@SLMIILMS @TrellInterlude Yup BYU and Utah left, UNLV and New Mexico fell off real bad and SDSU was still good but not quite as good as they were before and after. Would’ve been a great league if the timing was better. Also pretty cool that Santa Clara and San Francisco are investing in hoops now

@SauceCastillo38 @TrellInterlude Even then I think it was a good move for the Zags to stay, they became a larger powerhouse after and the WCC got significantly better and there have been many years the WCC has been a better top half team than the MWC

@SauceCastillo38 @TrellInterlude Yeah I remember that. At that point Few had been basically the main money source for the WCC and he controlled negotiations with them. Got a better deal for Gonzaga and they stayed. I think at the time that was probably the only legit opportunity they had to move.
