@verge Are they trying to remove every reason to pay for their much more expensive hardware? I buy Apple products because of iMessage and not being advertised to constantly... They aren't content actively making their software worse? They have to layer ads on top of it?

TDS takes on two forms. Trump Derangement and Trump Devotion Syndromes. Both are very real. Both are equally annoying. Virtually every leftist on Earth (including foreigners who seem to think that their opinions on U.S. politics matter) suffers from the Derangement form. They are all erratic, unhinged effeminate weirdos that look like the stereotypical dork with nose rings and thick-rimmed glasses the size of hubcaps. Sometimes, they will signal their toxicity with their neon-colored hair. These tend to be career student / academic types that have no real-world experience because they have spent their entire lives in school. Their personalities have been hating Trump 24/7, 365 since 2015, and the only words in their vocabulary are “convicted felon,” “rapist,” and “pedophile” (which is funny because these losers never cared, much less said a thing about Epstein's disgusting pedo ring until Trump and Pam Blondie fumbled horribly). A decent chunk (maybe half, maybe slightly less) of Trump's fan base, however, has the other form of TDS, which is unwavering devotion. These people barely passed high school, and will change their core belief system on a whim to go along with whatever Trump says, even if it is a 180° separation from his campaign promises or conservative principles. Because legacy news media and Democrats attack the President constantly and have since 2015 (often for trivial or made-up reasons, at least during his first term), the MAGAs get very defensive if you stick to your conservative principles and call Trump and his administration out for failing to deliver a conservative agenda or core campaign promises. They treat him like a God that cannot be questioned. What I have noticed, however, is that most of these people are just former Democrats who still act like Democrats, which explains the cult-like behavior and conformity “you are either with us 100% or are the enemy” personality most leftists also exude. Horseshoe theory at work, if you will. Old Democrats reverting back to their previous ways. I hope that this stupid era in politics will soon be over because people need to start thinking critically again. Certain people on the right need to stop defending the indefensible, and most people on the left need to stop taking the wrong side of every 80/20 issue just because they don't like Trump. I am tired of the tribalism and narratives. Facts matter.

There is this huge influencer on Instagram who is a supposed etiquette expert and her entire schtick is teaching women how to “signal” that they “belong” to “higher status” social circles. The advice is inane, ridiculous stuff like “have people over to your house to signal higher status. Don’t arrange dinners at restaurants, which is lower status.” And all these young women over there are gobbling it up and I need you guys to appreciate the challenge I face in not leaving a laceratingly negative comment on every single one of these posts!

@amerasell @tylerbowyer I understand that is what I lot of people believe. As someone who voted for Obama in the democratic primary in Ohio on the thought that he would be easier to beat than Clinton... it doesn't always work out like you think it is going to.

We were told by the Beltway Bandits that Cornyn was the only way. They have wasted $100 million that could have ended Talarico early & made Crockett the candidate in TX, giving us a default W. Instead it was sunk into a guy who was going to lose from the start. Bad waste of $
