Entire D2C industry is doing a Shopify + Meta playbook which I abandoned in 2022 and taught to a lot of people including @Ajain112 Currently running small experiments for offline sales. Major inspiration is @vinodchendhil Boxers and Shorts available in Ahmedabad 🔥🔥🔥

@akshay_ranjith But we need to see demand or trend of this product for 12 months as well, eg Cooler will be in high search volume till June/July, after that it will start dropping

Amazon’s Product Opportunity Explorer is a powerful tool. I just checked traffic growth for coolers , expecting maybe 100% or 500%. Not even close. It’s up over 1,000%.

Sometimes we feel that we should not deliver so much high ROAs that our client is out of inventory and we have to either reduce the spend or stop the ads campaign :/

I have created a budget for this financial year. This time, I also forecasted the sales of each SKU-wise for each channel for our main products, and have also noted down how much approx revenue new products should come in. I mean, this would be only useful if we are evaluating reach each month and comparing it with the results.

Started running ads in @Ajain112 bhai’s style using this background getting 6–8x ROAS on five figure ad spends across multiple ad sets. Too early to say for sure, but it looks like it might be time for another eight figure bank loan.

@PrimeVideo needs a better Ads Management person, apart from just bidding on top for their own keyword, they need to optimise their ad copy as well. Few free tips from my end: 1. Use Https instead of Http 2. add Brand logo on ad copy 3. Pin specific ad headlines or description like 1 month free trial or try now. PPC is not always about bidding highest when you have deep pockets , but with proper checks and verifications to optimise the cost. @amazonIN @PrimeVideo #googleads #ppc

Recently heard from a close friend about a property deal not going through because according to the seller ChatGPT gave him 25% higher price expectation than the buyer was offering. AI is now going to destroy real estate market.

🚨 Shopify Merchants Alert Recent “data leak” concerns are mostly linked to **3rd-party apps & shipping partners (like Shiprocket)** — not Shopify itself. 🔐 Quick Fix: • Remove unused apps • Disable unused APIs • Disconnect old shipping partners • Audit 3rd-party checkout / OMS access Stay secure. If any technical help needed, feel free to DM me. #Shopify #DataSecurity #D2C

TLDR: His friend turned ₹50L into ₹1.3Cr and back to ₹70L — doing everything "they" told him. FIIs with longer horizons than you are actively exiting. Yet you're told to just "hold." You weren't weak. You were misled. Entry without exit is not investing — it's spray and pray.
Harsh Patel@harshtradzo

A dear friend called me on Sunday. He invested ₹50 lakhs post-Covid. Watched it grow to ₹1.3 crore. Felt like a genius. Today? ₹70 lakhs. ₹60 lakhs gone in 6 months. Not a crash. Not a black swan. Just the market doing what markets do. And the worst part? He did EVERYTHING they told him to. ✅ Bought the Dip ✅ Stayed invested Long-term ✅ Trusted MF Sahi Hai He followed the script perfectly. The script failed him. 1. Here's the question nobody is asking: If Long-term is ALWAYS Sahi Hai — Why have FIIs been relentlessly selling Indian equities for 2 years straight? These are institutions managing ₹100s of crores with research teams, economists & PhDs. They have a LONGER time horizon than you. Not shorter. 2. Let that sink in. No retail investor has a longer investment horizon than a pension fund, sovereign wealth fund or an endowment fund. Yet they EXIT. They ROTATE. They TIME their moves. Because they understand something the MF industry will never tell you 👇 3. Exiting is NOT a sin. It is HALF of the investment process. Entry + Exit = Investing But here's why they won't tell you this: Every rupee you pull out = lower AUM = lower fee = lower salary for your advisor. Your loss is literally built into their incentive structure. 4. They sold you a half-truth and called it wisdom. "Time IN the market beats timING the market." Fine. But WHICH market? At WHAT valuation? In WHAT macroeconomic cycle? With WHAT earnings growth? Staying invested in an overvalued market at peak cycle is not patience. It's ignorance dressed as discipline. 5. Real investing is uncomfortable. It demands: 📐 Mathematics — valuations, ratios, margins 📊 Trend Reading — price, volume, momentum 🔄 Cycle Awareness — business & economic cycles 🧠 Logic over Emotion — especially when it's your own money ⏱️ Timing — both entry AND exit 6. Personal Finance 101 that your advisor conveniently skips: Time Horizon exists to define your GOALS and calculate risk-return. It does NOT guarantee returns. It does NOT override bad entry points. It does NOT protect you from valuation compression. 7. My friend isn't stupid. He's an engineer, brilliant man. But nobody taught him that markets have cycles — And that conviction without context is just expensive stubbornness. 8. If you're sitting on heavy drawdowns right now — You are not alone. You were not reckless. You were misled by an industry that profits from your inertia. The first step? Stop calling it "long-term" when what you really mean is "I don't know what to do." 9. Start asking harder questions: → Why are institutions selling what I'm holding? → What is the earnings growth supporting this valuation? → Do I have an EXIT strategy or just an entry story? → Whose incentives does my advisor serve — mine or their AUM? 10. The market will recover. It always does. But your financial goals have a timeline. Your child's education doesn't wait. Your retirement doesn't wait. The market's recovery and YOUR recovery are two very different things. Investing is a skill, not a religion. "Long-term Sahi Hai" is not a strategy. It's a sedative. Learn the math. Respect the cycles. Plan your exits. And most importantly — think for yourself. Your money. Your responsibility. Your future. RT if someone you know needed to read this today. Follow for more threads that the MF industry hopes you never see.

Guys I'm planning to build a Return & Exchange Shopify app for our own use due to code is not a resource problem anymore. Current apps are costing us a lot and this alone can save us ~3 lakhs annually. Thinking of opening it up for other D2C brands as well once it's stable. For founders who run Shopify stores what features do you wish return/exchange apps had but current ones don’t? (except the standard stuff already available in the market) Would love to build this with real feedback.

When someone says we have trained an AI, cut their BS short- Most “AI products” today = RAG + prompts engineered to feed context into a pretrained LLM, wrapped in UX. It has its benefits, but still a long way to go for it to be intelligent.
