If your degree didn’t give you a clear professional identity, go write CIS. You’ll thank your future self for it. And yes, you should come back to say thank you too. 😉

My advice in this bear market: Dry Powder: accumulate more. No Dry Powder: delete your apps & forget about portfolio till the bulls return.

@ScFidelis Exactly my position. It is the Q1 2026 that will give a clearer picture of the new Aradel, not the 2025 full year.

@oyeolsakin11538 @ScFidelis Correction - you’re right, just seen the indenture and it’s a re-opening so the price most probably won’t be at par and the yield will be closer to the present yield to maturity, and not the nominal coupon rate.

A 10-year FGN bond at 22.6%. No wonder pension funds are smiling.

@Thingummy_Fire This effectively means the 2025 P&L will not fully reflect the Group's (Aradel & its subsidiary) earnings power. Clock that.

@ScFidelis Actually the acquisition was officially executed on 31 December, 2025. Aradel’s year end balance sheet will expand to reflect the newly acquired assets, however ND western operational revenue will only begin to appear in the q1 2026 top line

A few things you may have ignored: 1, The reason we are even talking of Renaisance - to consolidate or not - is due to Aradel's additional 40% acquisition in ND Western Ltd (in Dec 2025). 2, This additional stake in ND Western did 2 things:
Rufybaba@Rufyb

While we patiently wait for Aradel's audited numbers, the valuation of the coy will depend on whether they consolidate Renaissance's numbers or if they adopt a simple accounting approach. Ordinarily, the method used shouldn't matter. Here is what I mean...

Sterling has obtained shareholder approval to raise up to $400 million. The real question isn't the capital. It's what management does with it.

Nigeria's yield curve is inverted. The 10-year bond offers 22.6% The 20-year bond offers 16.25% Normally, longer maturities should pay more.

9, This is the new Aradel. The one the market quietly awaits its FY 2025 result together with Q1 2026; both delayed by the consolidation of the 2 new subsidiaries. June 19 is upon us.

8, My judgement is that if you annualise that Q1 2026 (when released), you'd have a very decent upside to 2025FY, even after adjusting for possible agains from higher crude oil price in 2026.
