@digitalfoundry Idk if this i a bug, a workaround for pssr 2.0 to work propperly or just a methode to force the textures to load faster. If you switch a gun you need to do the method again in order to have sharper texture again. After restarting the game you need to do everything again

@digitalfoundry Hey @digitalfoundry I have tested out the new pssr on some games and I found out something interesting in BF6. As soon as you start the game on perf. mode the textures are washed out as always. But as soon as you switch to balance and then back to perf. you have better textures!

We test a quartet of PS5 Pro games upgraded with the new PSSR - and in Silent Hill f in particular, a combination of problematic issues from the old version are fully resolved, transforming the game. digitalfoundry.net/features/teste…

Do you see the difference of texture clarity? Left is before and right after changing the settings. It gets reset after every game restart and you need to do this method to every single weapon if you want the textures to be sharp. Please provide a fix for this! 🙏

@BattlefieldComm @EAHelp I think I might have found a bug that should be fixed asap. I don't know if this is because of the new pssr 2.0 but check this out: If you start the game the textures on performance mode are washed out. Now I changed it to balanced and then back to perf.

@AxelStrand_ @BattlefieldComm It works but its bugged I guess. If you play on performance mode you have washed out textures. Now change it to balance and then back to performance and look at the difference: left before changing and right after

She doesn't look the same anymore and has an ugly photorealism filter on her. Its good for vegetation but not for humans or animals within a game. It ruins the work of devs.

Open Matchmaking confirmed. At launch, Open Matchmaking with minimal skill consideration will be the default matchmaking for #BlackOps7 MP. Our team is committed to providing players with a more varied experience, and the Beta was a valuable opportunity to test this approach.
