I've seen the term "plot armor" thrown around more in the last two days than ever before. Thragg making a decision to not kill based on sentiment for his own race is not plot armor for Mark and Nolan, it's characterization.

Not to mention that it's important to show that men can be victims of SA, and that it should be taken seriously. Mark has feelings of regret and guilt that he didn't "try harder" to stop it, and reacts very realistically. It's supposed to be uncomfortable.

There would literally be no point in introducing the character if they weren't going to do it. It's a mature topic in a mature show. There won't be graphic detail, and there's no reason it can't be done. It's handled maturely in the comic, regardless of "fan" reaction.
