@raiyukihenkei It will have been - any tooling change like that, especially in “flattening” the faction symbols, will be a permanent one. It’s why they largely phased out the raised faction symbols, sadly

@SixoTF It’s such a perfect match of mold and charater. The key gimmick is maybe lackluster but the arm retooling overall is really cool. It’s interesting as well though that it seems to keep the factionless tooling of Ransack (I guess that tooling change was permanent?)

Cybertron Longrack might be one of the best Transformers repaints I have picked up in some time, and it does a brilliant job at reimagining the original Beast Wars Neo character. I wrote a piece about it - LINK BELOW Anyone else love this one?

@14thPrimeCustom I just picked up the Buzzsaw too and was blown away by how nice it was in hand

@SixoTF I grabbed Cybertron Buzzsaw last year and it made me wanna get Longrack for their connected history.

@Protoman Neat! Shame it didn’t happen

There was going to be a mini comic that me and Dan Kahnna were going to put together for Hasbro explaining who Decepticharge was (and me slightly nodding to Kissplayers) but it all never happened. Would have been published with Fun Pub or some con related thing (Maybe SDCC who would get Alternator exclusives like Nemesis Prime and Rodimus)

@Fat_Burr That's fine — I'm not saying you can't feel that way

@SixoTF Well good for you, but you also have to see it from other people's perspective. A ton of people loved TFP, and when they were told that RiD is supposed to be a sequel to it, then those people have expectations about it. Expectations that went unfulfilled to a lot of them.

Honestly, a great Transformers cartoon — legitimately entertaining, funny, charming, creative, and with wholly unique characters Another one where we want Transformers to take a fresh approach and do new stuff but then grumble about it when it does

@SwordkingX Plenty of Decepticons (and Autobots) that turn into animals in other series, too. Besides, it's just a bit of fun character design — something distinctive

@SixoTF I just don't get why all the decepticons on this show look like they should turn into an animal. Their not predacons

@Fat_Burr I don't think it's ignoring a problem if I didn't find it to be a problem to begin with

@SixoTF That's just ignoring the problem though, and also that's kinda hard to do when the show keeps bringing up the obligatory Prime reference every couple episodes, the connection is always gonna be at the back of your mind

@Fat_Burr But it can be, that’s the thing. Just forget about Prime when watching it and it’s absolutely fine

@SixoTF But that's literally the main problem with it, like sure it's a good show, but it should've been it's own continuity instead of being a sequel

@Suzano3030 They don’t need to though - they’re not exactly closely linked despite the storyline carrying on. My only point is that you can just “forget” it’s meant to be a sequel and it still works haha

@SixoTF They literally do if its the same continuity I dont mind it being after TFP, just change Bee's design to be closer to TFP and its fine, really
