After 7 months of the purchasing process, we are happy to say that we have purchased 34 Deardengate in Haslingden! 🎉 The former Barclays needs major restoration and we’ll be sharing its history, our progress and discoveries we find along the way. #Restoration #Haslingden

@EmmaLMcMahon @NatWest_Help @SamaraBarnes1 @AlysonDBarnes It’s terrible. Bacup lost Barclays in 2013, then Rawtenstall, then we had to use Burnley which only had a 12-2 business counter. Now they’ve axed all in-person business support! Their call centres give wrong numbers on purpose just to end the call. Agree on needing banking hubs.

Yet another bank in Rawtenstall earmarked for closure. This after nearby Haslingden lost all its banks. Lots of vulnerable people rely on face to face banking. @NatWest_Help can't you come together with other providers to share local premises? @SamaraBarnes1 @AlysonDBarnes

EPIOSODE OUT TODAY - SNOWMED CODES with John Lord & Robbie Burns NHS healthcare providers must now use SNOMED CT. World Health Organisation’s International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified occupational exposure as a firefighter as carcinogenic to humans

We welcome the use #SNOMEDCT by NHS England for and look forward to NI, Scotland, Wales following suit. These codes are used in medical records to flag that you have been in contact with carcinogenic material. An important step forward for #firefighters

🚨 Join us at the Emergency Services Show – Stand 226 🚨 John & Robbie will be discussing contaminants, responder cancer awareness, and the importance of SNOMED codes. We have around 200 SNOMED cards to give out, if you need some please grab them before they are gone!

John has spent two weeks in the beautiful Seychelles, delivering incident management training to a great group of officers. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated for their hard work and warm hospitality. We look forward to returning soon!

My thoughts today are with all those impacted by the awful events which took place on the 7th of July 2005, hard to believe this was now 19 years ago, but for many the physical and mental wounds will feel as fresh as it was yesterday.
