But here’s what’s quietly happening on the self-serve and IBA side of the industry: - Self-serve customer usage jumped from 12% to 17% in just two years, according to ICA’s PULSE survey data. - The self-serve car wash market is projected to grow from $4.5B to $7.5B by 2032, a 6.6% annual growth rate. - Industry leaders are calling it the fastest moving segment in the last five years. The opportunity isn’t just in big markets. Smaller towns, the ones the big chains skip over, are prime locations for a well run self-serve or IBA with updated equipment and modern payment options.
