@MLBFullMinors would loading "default roster" not achieve the same thing?

@Simsbad Just storage, sometimes players get added and removed later in future updates and it’s nice to have the old base rosters.

@Simsbad I think we're close. in their hands. It's already in OOPSY on their site. and we will update 2022-2025, but not 20-21 because they are out of the training set.

@DerekCarty Last night after midnight BAT X updated on FanGraphs 'Batters' projections with 594 players (current DC-FAs), but then an hour later changed back to 670 (DC+ATC). Projections for each were different. Do you know why two different updates occurred?

@bigpapa09 Probably not to this extent, the official SDS roster updates do a great job keeping players hitting ratings up-to-date.

Here’s something a little different… with the offseason upon us, we went through every team and recalculated their players’ speed ratings following their 2025 performance. Ratings are calculated using the same data as MLB The Show. You will need to input these manually.
