Now living in a beautiful and charming-yet-bizarre and enigmatic community a mysterious village isolated from reality by mountains and the sea. Now trapped in the village by a floating, glowing balloonlike devices that capture those who try to escape.

@LanceForman @afneil @gnuseibeh If you destroy vital infrastructure bridges oil refiners, power plants etc it will impact every aspect of Iranian life. Not as quick as an atom bomb, but just as effective. The man is clearly mad.

President Trump threatens to wipe out Iranian civilization if Tehran doesn’t cede to his demands by 8pm New York time (1am London) tonight (Tuesday). “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump writes on his Truth Social platform. Is there anybody, any group capable of staging an intervention in the White House?

@orangekittyrad @forallcurious It’s lit by the sun, we only see the same side of the moon as we’re”in sync with earth. Grok or any AI will explain. Or go to a library and research the way we used to, with lovely old fashioned books.

@forallcurious Question from the back.....How do you get a picture like that on the DARK side of the moon?? Isn't it dark? They must have had a huge flashbulb on that camera.

@suemcdonald342 Remember Iraq, remember Afghanistan, remember the flag draped coffins being driven slowly through Royal Wootton Bassett. Starmer does.

Neville Chamberlain was considered weak naive and he failed to prepare Britain for war. I wonder why Trump compared Starmer to him? 🤔 🤷🏻‍♀️

Goodnight from Bill Buckley, considering if summoning the Bone Angel is fair recompense for the beating he’s just received from Terry Dixon’s goons. Goodnight from Matt Adams, far from sleep after hearing wax cylinder recordings of Wood Sprites. Goodnight from Hookland.

@SandyofSuffolk As a pensioner I know the triple lock is unaffordable. Young people are finding things tough. I also know our state pension is one of the lowest in Europe. Many pensioners struggle, many don’t. I’ve worked hard I’ve also been lucky. The only solution is means testing.

In all my 46 years of working, I never once heard anyone complain about old people getting a state pension. We just knew the older generation deserved looking after when they couldn't look after themselves after all their years of hard work.

@SlapBatter @TheRealJamieKay Well, I prefer Red Onion Raw, didn't use to, and in fact it is all I have for cooking now as well, and for me it would be too dry without Mayo.. I've neither a child or American 😂
