Ask why the anger lands on Spurs and never on Chelsea or City. Because the complaint underneath it, let our owners spend, is their model. A rule that serves the few richest owners and buries the rest of the league isn't a fairness argument. It's an application to join the gap.

My take on Sandro Tonal. I think he is an excellent player✅ The biggest question in this from the players point of view. He would walk into Man U,L,pool ,Bayern,R Madrid,Man City 3 of Rodri/Anderson/Tonali would be unreal. Why would you go Spurs🤷🏻‍♂️ This is not a dig at Spurs.

Having had a bit of time to reflect on the sale of Sandro Tonali you have to say he didn’t really justify the love and affection he received. Banned for 10 months shortly after joining for breaking gambling rules and the fans and club stood by him. Brilliant in his second season and a huge part of the team’s success last year. Looked an elite midfielder. Was mainly average in his third season and the noise about him leaving started in January. He doesn’t leave a hero, he’s moved to earn more money in London, not to play for one of the elite clubs. But he doesn’t leave with the same toxicity as Isak because he handled exit with some decency and respect. A good player but never a great one. A loss but not a hammer blow. And, if we’re honest, not entirely sure he was ever that thrilled about signing for Newcastle in the first place. He said as much ahead of CL game against AC Milan shortly after he arrived #nufc

@JimOhSoSpurs Half agree Jim. But I think the owners have shit a brick at what very nearly happened and are looking to act on it. It’s positive steps though. Are you saying this money wasn’t available 2 years ago and we might have kept hold of the best striker in the world.

I have no problem with us paying fines if we’ve breached the rules, ourselves and Newcastle the latest in financial breaches. All clubs in the English pyramid seem to be held accountable for their actions.. And yet still NOTHING for Man City’s 115 and its been years.

Aston Villa found to have breached SCR rules and given €22.5m fine by UEFA. However, UEFA have noted #AVFC’s improvements in lowering SCR between 2024 and 2025, so the fine is conditional and only has to be paid if Villa do not continue to show progress.
