@DeathTheStriker Most magic cards will have a key word on it to just explain it with reminder text kinda like this. When cast giggle (to giggle smile, laugh high pitched either in joy or, slight nervousness) I used 3 brain cells on this please laugh.

ignoring using endymion seriously as an example but genuinely this is the first readable magic card I have ever seen. I didnt know they could print these without saying flying, cbt, spritiually israeli, or whatever the fuck that youre just expected to know beforehand

@idalwave @SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Review_bra Endymion’s biggest crime is that Konami or whoever translates the cards failed with specifically describing moving spell counters around, that is the bulk of the issue imo

@SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Barkeye52 @Review_bra Endymion is easy shit man. first effect is an on field effect, second is a continuous effect, third is an effect when it is destroyed by battle. tbh, the most offensive part about this card isnt the length, but how the continuous effect is in the middle & not the beginning (cont)

Every single yugioh card needs 3 paragraphs of restrictions and reminders of retroactively added rules or it goes infinite turn 1 and the game implodes. Worst designed game in history

@Barkeye52 @TheGreatArcana @SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Review_bra I thought like in 2019 Endymion/Pendulum piles had seen some meta relevance enough to get Servant of Endymion limited. Which is why we still have the fear mongering of his being the boogey man of card text 😂😂

@TheGreatArcana @SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Review_bra Endymion is a poor example as it's never seen play but you can just look up the keywords on questing beast, and since they're laid out keywords you know exactly what to look up and have no doubt on what that keyword means. If card text is confusing you have to ask a judge

@SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Review_bra Both cards are easy to understand people are just mad they have to read Endymion which is honestly just a skill issue. Funny you call Endy a meta card tho lol. Literally both games are easy to approach at worst a game takes slightly longer as players read to understand cards

@DistantCoder @Barkeye52 @Review_bra There is no way you think these 2 are comparable in how easy to parse they are. You just play ygo much you've learned all the meta cards by heart, and you know how to interact with them just based on experience.
