The God of War studio just revealed its next chapter and Kratos is reportedly being replaced by Faye, his late wife, as the new protagonist. Swapping out one of gaming's most iconic leads for a woman who died offscreen is a bold gamble. The fanbase is going to have very strong feelings about this one...

There's a world in which a new GOW taking place in the afterlife of the Gods that mixes multiple mythologies could be a "jump the shark" moment for the franchise but MAN if Laufey didn't look INCREDIBLE. So hype we're getting this instead of an Atreus game, haha.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Switch 2 currently has an 86 Metacritic Average. This is slightly lower than the 89 Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade received. Regardless, it's one of the best, most content rich RPGs available on Switch 2.

Nintendo released a new 7 minute overview trailer for Star Fox! A lot of the information was in the Direct, but this is one beautiful looking remake.

Star Fox hands on previews are out! Most seemed very impressed, wanting to play more. It looks amazing, gameplay runs at 60 fps, the new cutscenes add depth to Team Star Fox. There were very few negatives.

Rhythm Heaven Groove was also playable at the Star Fox preview event. Nintendo Life forgot to blur out the logo at one point in their preview video. Those previews will come later obviously.
