SponsorBlock (and DeArrow)

Still some bugs, DeArrow is now public. It is a browser extension for improving titles and thumbnails on YouTube. It works via crowdsourced submissions and title formatting. Titles can be any arbitrary text. Thumbnails are screenshots from specific timestamps in the video.

@SrGrafo2 I get it too... The current meta is about reminding people to sub, cringe thumbnails, stalling in the video for it hit the proper length, adding a sponsor or two (I love you SponsorBlock) and of course misrepresenting stuff sometimes or not doing enough research. It's business.

so sick of catchy phrases or yelling sounds so kids or people with attention problems stay in the video, whenever I hear those Im out

DeArrow 2.1 adds compatibility with retro-YouTube extension v3 as well as yt-anti-translate. If yt-anti-translate is detected, it will automatically enable the built in DeArrow anti-translate functionality and try to avoid conflicts with the other extension.

My youtube thumbnails have been failing to load and I've realized that that is making me press on LESS slop. Does anyone have a userstyle that removes thumbnails completely?

DeArrow is currently replacing thumbnails with a blank space due to a YouTube change. I've published a fix, but it may take some time for the extension stores to release it. For now, you can either install the beta version, or disable thumbnail replacements for now

@Galea011 @Bitwarden @SteamDB I am saying that there is code in the extension to not show the help page if you've already seen it, even when a sync just happens, but something about your browser is breaking it. That's probably why it is happening to you with so many plugins

@SponsorBlock @Bitwarden @SteamDB Doesn't matter when it opens the page - the fact is, it does. So you're there CTRL+W'ing like 200 tabs every time you set up a fresh browser. (Should say I absolutely love the plugin(s) otherwise - just very annoying getting all these tabs when all your plugins pull through).

Reminder: If your plugin auto-opens a setup/tutorial page when installed, you make signing into sync a horrible experience. @Bitwarden / @SponsorBlock / @SteamDB (Only ones taggable here).
