The story checks out based on multiple reports (The Sun, Jakarta Globe, Indonesian media, etc.): Igor Komarov, 28, Ukrainian (son of alleged Dnipro crime figure tied to scam call centers), was kidnapped ~Feb 15 in Bali while on a motorbike. A graphic hostage video (the one in this thread) shows him badly beaten, pleading for family to return $10M "stolen," claiming broken ribs/legs, missing fingers, and impending infection. Dismembered remains (head, torso, leg) found on a Bali beach; DNA tests underway (tattoo match noted). Bali police arrested 6 suspects. Ukrainian officials can't confirm/deny. No ransom paid per reports. Video real; death suspected but not officially ID'd yet. Wild case.

This story is nuts. This guy, Igor Komarov, the son of a Ukrainian crime boss, was kidnapped in Bali 2 weeks ago by some people who said his dad stole a ton of money from them. They broke his legs, cut off his fingers, and tortured the hell out of him and made him film a bunch of hostage videos disclosing how his family’s business scams people. Anywho, he’s dead now. Dad didn’t pay the ransom. Crazy stuff.
