March 26, 2026, marked the 196th anniversary of the publication of the Book of Mormon. While much can be said about the book, let me summarize as one voice of many by saying, “It is true!” (I took this picture of an original edition of the Book of Mormon at the Duke University Special Collections Library when I spent almost two hours with the book.)

Yes. It was taken this morning in Fountain Hills Arizona. We were in the process of taking our sweet 17 year old dog to the pet crematorium in Phoenix. He passed an hour earlier & we were grieving so hard. We stopped to say a prayer for God to soften our anguish. A few minutes later we saw that rainbow. God lives & does send comfort in times of sadness.

An LDS 𝕏 post. Over the past few years, I keep encountering a repetitive refrain from many fellow members of the Church. Many of you have a deep, abiding concern that can probably be summarized this way: The Church is slowly being eaten by a cancerous element of niceness/tolerance/progressive messaging. Doctrines are being softly effaced. Prior teachings are being abandoned. The Church is embracing a kind of globalist, liberal ethos and is soft-pedaling any and all of the former "line in the sand" teachings of the recent past. The prophets/apostles are not teaching clear doctrines because many of their messages can be ambiguous or interpreted in conflicting ways. Because of this, it won't be long before the Church has totally drifted off course and becomes no different than any of the other church in the world that have embraced progressive value systems. Gay marriage sealings are just around the corner. Does that accurately reflect the feelings that many of you folks have?

@LDSLaw All I know for sure is: God lives! Jesus Christ is our Savior & The Holy Ghost witnesses to us.

What if we’ve misunderstood what life is supposed to feel like? Not a playground. A school.

Every time we come to see my parents, we drive over to Adam-ondi-Ahman and see the spot where my husband proposed to me 23 years ago this August ❤️ We sat on a rock somewhere near Tower Hill.

Conference Series. The Lord often prepares us to be a sharper tool to later bless the lives of others. There are no limits when you are prepared for use in The Master’s toolbox.

Conference Series. To truly become like Jesus Christ we must stay connected to Him—the TRUE vine.

My wifey is in CA for Spring Break with a daughter and some grandkids. So, I'm a lone man in the garden of Eden for a week. That also means she's not here looking over my shoulder at what I post!!! So I can get away with posting a photo of her and me. She doesn't much like her pictures, and I have no idea why. So, here we are - just a few years back, but reasonably current. Did I marry up or what?!?! 😍

Conference Series. We cannot build muscle memory with only periodic efforts. It is our DAILY walk with Jesus that has the power to strengthen us.

Conference Series. Jesus Christ is revealed to us through prophets.

Conference Series. As Latter-day Saints there are so many principles that have been revealed to us…. Among the first, in the Spring of 1820, is that God knows us by name.

Conference Series. We only need trust in Jesus Christ for our burdens to be lightened and for our way to feel sure.
