@MillThat Actually yeah, because our cards are their own resource system they can have multiple functions for different stages of the game. For example, this is a tutor that comes back as a threat by recurring your spent or lost interaction. You can use it to find traps for other decks too

Bro non magic players don't know what the fuck is going on with their resource systems and all they want to do is point at magic and say "you have to admit it's flawed'
Does your resource system turn into threats (Mutavault)? Enable splashes (fetches)? Do stupid shiii (bazaar)?

Nobody thinks Magic's non-games are "worse" than other games, nor are other games "tricking you" - Magic has, demonstrably, more of them. The game was designed in the 90s, its ok to admit they didnt do everything right. They do a great job making it feel less bad, but it's bad.
