Ppl who grind mtg nd are at the highest level lose out on family or fitness, you can't be the best or strive to whole also trying to be the best friend, partner and version of yourself physically

I seriously don't know how people can grind magic while having kids, a partner, and a full time job. Last week I was able to play in 2 challenges and play 4 leagues during the week, but I slept way less that I'm used to, and didn't do anything else (go out, watch a show, etc.)

The event that made Magic change rule was PT Oath of Gatewatch 2016, when a Team (which I was part of) played 4 MD Chalice of the Void and hired a person to scout the field and write in a google sheet what deck each player was on so they would know how much play Chalice at. Ever since everyone experience the beauty of open decklists and no competitve player complained since.
