@kiwitalkz I really like Metroid and other 2D Metroidvania games, but I’ve never tried Prime. Would you recommend trying Prime 1 or 4?

For some reason all my old Metroid Prime interviews and clips have surged in views over the last few days, unsure why the YouTube algorithm has been recommending them but I won’t complain. lol I’m seeing a number of new comments though on there like “Prime 4 sucks”, “Prime 4’s a turd” “Retro is dead” etc. That stuff is over the top I just want to say Prime 4 isn’t a terrible game, aesthetically everything is still there it’s just the level design lets it down in parts and given how great the previous 3 games were it’s extremely noticeable After 18 years without making a new Metroid game I view this game as their proof of concept/their equivalent of Samus Returns, all Retro needs to do is take the criticism on board and fix them and Prime 5 can be Retros equivalent of Metroid Dread

People really trying to say this game is a scam because you need a 4K TV for one of the mini games I don’t even think you can BUY a 1080p TV anymore?? 4K is all my stores have carried for like 8 years. Who doesn’t have a 4K TV at this point? 😭
