What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.

Today, the Iranian regime is still in place. They still have thousands of missiles and retain their highly enriched uranium and now they're negotiating for a firm grip on the Strait of Hormuz in perpetuity to end the war. Meanwhile, we've lost 14 U.S. servicemen and women and hundreds more have been wounded; spent tens of billions of dollars; and badly depleted our supplies battering Iran. At the same time, inflation is raging again and gas is at $4.15 a gallon and rising--$1.20 more than the day before we decided to launch a war against Iran. Remind me again why this was a good idea?

Historically, the economy does better under Democratic presidents than Republican ones. A major reason is that the GOP’s business-friendly outlook is undermined by its habit of launching wars that wreck global energy markets. slowboring.com/p/republican-w…

Big problem for Collins is that not only are Trump’s numbers bad right now, but Maine has shifted left since her last election.

Congratulations to Darius on being awarded the Bob Cousy award. He is the second point guard that played for me to win the award. Tyler Ulis who is on our staff was the first that I coached to win the award!

I’ve spent my entire life focusing on the success and well being of student athletes. Their success in both sports and academics is paramount. I have no problem with Athletes making money and I have had that stance for many years. But what we have been dealing with the last few years is harmful not only to their total success but also the longevity of College Sports as we know it. Yesterday, President Trump took bold action to preserve and protect Collegiate Athletics. I urge Congress to pass bipartisan legislation and SAVE COLLEGE SPORTS!

@mrBobbyBones Strong foundation is built. It would help immensely if we could retain Wagner, Knox, Richmond, Ewin and Sealy. Or, if Thomas stays. Continuity is still important to attain Final Four level. Go Hogs!

Ben McKenzie, who many will recognise from shows like The O.C. and Gotham, speaks with Bill Maher and essentially argues that cryptocurrency is a scam. I’m aware this interview isn’t recent, but there’s a reason I’m bringing it up. Despite considering myself fairly well versed in tech and things related to it, I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit that I know very little about crypto. So I have a genuine question for those who understand it better.. Is what Ben is saying here true? Is crypto a Ponzi scheme or a scam? I ask this without bias, although I realise many responses will naturally come with one, and that’s fine. Personally, I know a few people who have done very well from crypto trading, so my immediate, perhaps naive, reaction is that it can’t simply be a scam. I’m interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

It’s appalling. The people chanting are being terrible. I appreciate we live in a country which allows those knuckleheads to have free speech. They would be arrested in Iran, China, Etc. But, I don’t think they represent Dems writ large. Do you think they do?
U.S. Senator John Fetterman@SenFettermanPA

Here in Philadelphia. Truly appalling. These assholes chanting for the death of our servicemembers. Where’s the Dem outrage and condemnation?
