seeing mohn again, happy and oblivious, it’s something completely out of lusamine’s control. she could bring him back, keep him safe, like she’s always wanted. it would be so easy. but for the first time, she doesn’t. and she lets him go.

people love to dumb down lusamine to ‘poisoned by nihilego’ and ‘crazy abusive mom’ as if she’s not one of the most complex pokémon villains. it’s not about nihilego’s poison. “it was her way of trying to reach him again. that’s what i had to believe. to get through it.”

Should have stayed with Ash and instead incorporated a more Coordinator battle style into how it fights. Could add to the Paul Ash rivalry w/ "Oh one of your Pokemon is not even a full battler, just a coordinator". Just a wasted Pokemon in the anime for how great it was.
