Bollywood music once gave us melodies that lived for decades. Today most songs live for 3 reels and disappear. Where are the lyrics with soul? The poetry? The timeless compositions? From R. D. Burman to Lata Mangeshkar, Kumar Sanu to Alka yagnik from 60s romance to early 2000s magic we had songs we could hum for years. Now it’s all remixes, forced Punjabi beats, random rap inserts & viral hooks with zero emotional depth. A song should touch the heart, not just trend for 15 seconds. Bollywood music has lost its soul.
