4:20pm Strong rotation again from the earlier TOR warned storm, this time near Clearmont, MO

4pm Radar Check - Tornado warning until 4:15 for Atchison and Nodaway co in NW Missouri. TOR/SVR threat along the MO/IA border, near the warm front. Elsewhere just cold rain and storms. Temps have dropping 20+ degrees in Falls City, barely at 41 in Omaha

3pm Radar Check - Just the lone SVR storm now entering far NW Missouri, with hail threat where temps are now in the mid 70s. Elsewhere, it's barely 40º in Omaha. TOR threat highest by lifting warm front. Tornado watch until 10pm, SVR threat for Omaha region done by 6pm.

4/1 - We are watching for severe weather on Friday afternoon. The NWS SPC Day 3 outlook is focused from Des Moines into southern Iowa. For now, thinking this stays south of Omaha. As it develops, the line from SE Neb/SW Iowa could have wind/hail/tor in the afternoon, from 2-7pm

It was like that for the Mizzou-Memphis game in 2023. Terrible...

Snow moves in to Omaha around 11am-12pm, lasting until 6-8pm. 1-2", up to 4". Expect 'white-out' conditions and poor visibility on roads. Adjust travel plans. Highest wind gusts will be around 60-70mph Blizzard warnings are in effect across central Iowa and near South Dakota

3/14 SAT 1pm: Sunday around Omaha. Notice the drop in temps in the morning. That will help snow that blows onto the road freeze later in the day when temps dip in the 20s. Winds of 30mph, gusting to 55-70mph. Snow amounts of 1-2" for most. No more than 4". Good luck measuring!

Current Blizzard Warnings that are in effect for Sunday, March 15 (as of Sat 1pm) Omaha probably doesn't quite meet the snow-duration requirements for this warning, but these blizzard and 'white-out' conditions WILL EXIST when it snows Sunday afternoon

Nebraska Wildfire Update: Reported fires around Omaha this afternoon. We are under a RED FLAG WARNING for all of eastern Nebraska until 9pm. Winds may weaken a little evening before the midnight cold front arrives. Wind gusts from 12-3am could reach 60+ mph, calmer by 7am

How do I collect them all

Coming up on 10pm - A couple of hail cores showing up on radar as these storms approach Iowa. Largest core is now moving east of downtown Omaha. Keep in mind, it's about 32º outside while it is HAILING

.@NebraskaDOT camera near Columbus showing some slush on the roadways. Even areas that don't have this slush could be slick as moisture from the rain freezes to the roads.

🤯 I thought we would have severe weather today. I didn't think we would have FREEZING THUNDERSTORMS and FREEZING SEVERE HAIL STORMS. Nebraska weather is BY FAR the craziest...

As of 6pm, storms have finally begun to fill in parts of the radar around Omaha. We have a few storms south of the cold front in SW Iowa that could support hail/TOR development Also watching the storms moving in from NE Kansas, those will approach Falls City, NE around 8pm-ish
