Commissioner Madlanga appeared visibly irritated as Sergeant Nkosi repeatedly asked him to repeat the same questions. He also stepped in to interpret for himself, correcting the interpreter’s inaccuracies.
At times, it appeared as if Sergeant Nkosi was playing around with the commission by claiming he did not understand English, yet he would occasionally tell the interpreter that she was not correctly interpreting what was being said #MadlangaCommission
