@campbellclaret The King isn't the one making dumb decisions on behalf of us all....doh. Not our war?? We really didn't expect Trump to say the same if we're at war at some point 🤔
English

So on the day it is announced the King and Queen are to make a State visit to the US the Orange Man Baby goes into full insult mode. Never too late for a change of travel plan Charles. Maybe join the Pope with the poor?

“All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you…” - President Donald J. Trump
English

@SkyNews Not our war???? So we want others to remove Iran's nuclear capability. How does that not benefit us? Just wait until we're in a spot of bother and US say "not our war"
English

Speaking at the launch of Labour's local elections campaign, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said the conflict in the Middle East "is not our war, and we are not going to be dragged into it."

@henrywinter "Mood" is a very appropriate word for that guy....no way does he deserve a call up...turn your country down once and you're done in my view
English

Mood amongst some England fans is that Ben White didn’t deserve a recall after his self-imposed exile. “Mostly (the mood is) that he shouldn’t be in the squad. He’s made his bed…” says one top-capper.

Declan Rice consoled by Thomas Tuchel as he went up to collect his loser’s medal. Rice was the picture of frustration. Missed opportunity by Arsenal. They froze. Big names didn’t deliver. So many good players but just didn’t go for it. Inhibited almost. Failed to react tactically or with any real energy or defiance when City took control of midfield.
Arsenal must use that frustration as fuel to drive them to the trophy that matters most - the title. Head off on international break (initially a break for Rice), refresh, regroup and attack the rest of the season. So much talent. So much still to play for. Have to stay strong and go again. #AFC

@piersmorgan @_DeclanRice Nasty Mr Morgan eh? Thought you'd be above all that

Memo to the pathetic little turd of a Spurs fan who did this to @_DeclanRice on Sunday: you’ll need to find a Watford player’s girlfriend for your North London Derby next season. #GoingDown

@Kevin_Maguire How about people start posting someone close to you is going to die in a year....how would you feel? Disrespectful and unnecessary. Get a life man

Bit not said out loud is preparations are starting for a state funeral and coronation in, I'm told, 12 months.
No wonder William Mountbatten-Windsor isn't calm when he faces Qs about what he knew about Uncle Andrew and could soon inherit this crisis.

@ArsenalN10 U guys don't like a bit of your own medicine?? Swallow it and move on
English

@henrywinter Agree with you more often than not but on this occasion I think you've missed a subtlety. In my view it was an attempt to knock Arsenal off their stride. They are pushing the boundaries. Their corner routines are another example of pulling and pushing to create chaos.

Liam Rosenior is a highly promising young coach as he proved at Derby, Hull, Strasbourg and with six wins in eight games at Chelsea. He thinks deeply about the game. He’s obviously a very intelligent person. He’s also worked in the media. So Rosenior should be smart enough to avoid observations that lead to headlines unhelpful to him and his players.
Coaches, especially goalkeeping ones, do step into the opposition half to deliver long kicks to warm up their keeper. It happens often. Crossing the halfway line isn’t crossing the line. The media was always going to pick up Rosenior’s spiky comments towards Arsenal staff at the time – TV cameras everywhere, let alone fans filming the warm-up at the Emirates – and then follow up in his press conference yesterday.
Rosenior talked about “respect” and, however nuanced he might have been, and respectful towards Mikel Arteta, it was always going to lead to large headlines screaming antagonism towards Arsenal. The whole incident made Rosenior look a bit weak, rather than strong. It seems a minor issue to look rattled about anyway. Rise above it.
Rosenior may not care about the headlines, and some Chelsea fans may love his cocksure attitude, but it serves as fuel to the fire of opponents, it creates unnecessary negativity around him and he could use more of that time also bigging up his own team. He spoke about Cole Palmer. So speak more about what a special player he is. Accentuate positives about your own team, not throw negatives at others. Especially when they’ve just beaten you home and away. #CFC

@piersmorgan @kaihavertz29 He wins CL with Chelsea and points to the Arsenal badge. Show some respect

@piersmorgan U beat Leeds and u winning title eh?? Lot of water to go under the bridge before entitled Arteta holds any silverware

@ayefikr Yeh yeh whatever.....my point was about Trump freeloading on our royalty and then threatening to stitch us up....if you're right why didn’t she say no to the royal wedding? She's not afraid to speak her mind is she? I don't call people I've never ever met weirdos....respect!
English

@ToffNeil Strange how people feel the need to drag Meghan into situations that have nothing to do with her, insult & criticize her, yet have an issue if it’s directed at them . She didn’t want a big wedding, it wasn’t her choice. She went through with it because it was what was expected.
English

@ayefikr No need to insult me?? Did she not want all the pomp and ceremony of a royal wedding....
English

@ToffNeil @chrisshipitv If Meghan cared about pomp and ceremony, she wouldn’t have left the island in the first place. She literally walked away from it. Yet you weirdos keep dragging her into every conversation, even though she hasn’t mentioned that family in years after one interview.
