Truth is like a lion. It doesn’t need to be defended; just let it out. Illustrating the absurd with the absurd. Isaiah 49:2.

“I extend the word Israel to all the people of God, according to this meaning,— ‘When the Gentiles shall come in, the Jews also shall return from their defection to the obedience of faith; and thus shall be completed the salvation of the whole Israel of God, which must be gathered from both; and yet in such a way that the Jews shall obtain the first place, being as it were the first-born in God’s family.’” — Calvin’s commentary on Romans 11:26, section 6 of chapter 15 in volume 15 of his New Testament Commentary

It’s not just the dispensationalists. 👀 R.C. Sproul: “I take a classic premillennial view on Romans 11, following Edwards, Calvin, and Hodge, and all the rest, and it talks about a future conversion of ethnic Israel, and I believe that.”

All: I'm adding followers as fast as I can manage, including a lot of older followers whom I didn't get added before getting the hook. I will be traveling to the Great Homeschool Convention in St. Charles (St. Louis) this weekend so it may be a slow process.

California is sitting on 600 MILLION barrels of oil—locked up for over a decade… I went to Platform Harmony: 60,000 barrels a day now flowing again, jobs returning after 11 years in limbo. “California was once an energy powerhouse… now it relies on foreign oil.” #IngrahamAngleExclusive

Hello Congresswoman This has already been pointed out but allow us to reemphasize that: Roughly 88% of Nevada’s transportation fuels — including nearly 90% of Southern Nevada’s supply and the Las Vegas area via the Calnev Pipeline — comes from California refineries. With CA Democrat energy policy forcing the closure of major facilities, this dependency will mean higher prices & tighter supply ahead. Nevada has virtually ZERO gasoline refining capacity of its own. Just as Asian and European countries are learning that it is unwise to let their economies be vulnerable foreign geographic choke points -- We recommend Nevada decouple itself from CA energy policy as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing your views. We will certainly keep them in mind.
Congresswoman Susie Lee@RepSusieLee

Southern Nevadans are now paying over $5/gallon for gas because of Trump’s war. We need to lower costs for hardworking families. Instead, Republicans in Washington are spending $1 billion/day on a war that is making it more expensive for you to fill your gas tank.

Many of us have been sounding the alarm about this for over a year and now here we are. Hey, @RepSusieLee pay attention to the date this story by @VictorJoecks with the @reviewjournal was posted. May 5th of 2025. Victor has been warning about this for some time and @JosephMLombardo has been trying to address it as well. Every single Democrat in the state of Nevada had refused to listen. Every one.
Victor Joecks@VictorJoecks

California's green schemes are set to dramatically raise gas prices in Nevada. $7+ per gallon is likely by next year. The reason is that 88 percent of our state’s gasoline comes from California. In Las Vegas, 90 percent comes from the Calnev Pipeline. That includes both gasoline and jet fuel. That’s right. The Las Vegas airport is fueled by oil refined in California. That's a problem when California has declared war on fossil fuels. reviewjournal.com/opinion/opinio…

The national price of gas is currently $3.98. But in Nevada, we have the privilege of relying on California's oil refineries and are at the mercy of their insane energy policies. Susie Lee will rather lie to you about it being President Trump's fault than demand that California stop doing everything they can to halt energy production.

I just signed and announced a nationwide E15 and E10 fuel waiver to fortify U.S. fuel supply. This waiver ensures a robustly available supply of domestic fuel, providing Americans further relief at the pumps, and reducing our reliance on foreign oil. This means lower energy costs for ALL Americans—fulfilling President Trump’s Day One Executive Orders. epa.gov/newsreleases/e…

Hello Senator. This has already been pointed out but allow us to reemphasize that: 33% of Arizona’s gasoline — including the entire Phoenix refined products market — comes from California refineries via pipeline. With CA Democrat energy policy forcing the closure of major facilities, this dependency will mean higher prices & tighter supply ahead. Arizona has ZERO refineries of its own. With your military background - you of all people recognize that recent events have shown how unwise it is to allow an economy to be at risk of foreign choke points half way across the world. AZ is no different. We recommend AZ decouple itself from CA energy policy as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing your views. We will certainly keep them in mind.
Senator Mark Kelly@SenMarkKelly

This is from a gas station in Phoenix yesterday: $6.49 for a gallon of gas. All because Trump started war with no plan and no idea how it would affect everyday Americans. I'm fighting to suspend the federal gas tax to bring families some relief, but what they really need is a president focused on lowering their costs.

There's an urban legend that a ship sinking will create a powerful "suction" capable of pulling other nearby ships down with it. What California is doing to itself is having an effect on the states around them. As just one example, I'm in Nevada. 88% of our gasoline comes through pipelines from refineries that Gavin Newsom keeps putting out of business in California. As a result our gas prices are higher than most other states. For the love of God, can the Trump administration please do something about the criminals and gangsters running the state of California? Seize the refineries! @POTUS @JDVance @StephenM
Shipwreckedcrew@shipwreckedcrew

The federal government should seize the Calif refineries being shut down, lease them back to the companies on very favorable terms, and tell Newsom to go pound sand on Calif. environmental laws that are causing the shutdowns. It is not well understood that significant amounts of military Jet Fuel and Marine Diesel used by the Dept of Defense and Coast Guard come from the two refineries scheduled to be closed because upgrading them to meet enviro standards imposed by Calif is too expensive.

@bennyjohnson So is Minnesota the example of the kind of accountability we can expect to see in California? Gavin Newsom does not look terrified whatsoever.

I got a call from the White House after this hit on Jesse Waters’ Fox News show last night about the fraud in California. There is a reason Gavin Newsom looks so terrified right now. He should be. Buckle up. The fraud investigation is about to get insane. Starting this week…
