I'm honored that @commongroundcom named me the most bipartisan member of Congress.   Now, more than ever, Congress must work together and I am proud to be leading that charge. The stakes are too high and time is too short for partisan bickering and political inaction.

Instead of lowering energy bills, the Trump Administration wants to spend $1 BILLION of YOUR money to kill clean power projects and benefit their friends in the gas industry. Not a single dollar comes back to you.

While we continue negotiating serious reforms needed to ICE, I’m working to fund the rest of DHS and protect our national security. Republicans should join us and bring this bill to the floor.

So glad I could attend the Serbian Professional Network’s quarterly mixer event, a group that has not only created opportunities for southern Nevadans, but that continues to celebrate the culture and heritage of Balkan countries. It’s so wonderful to have a group connecting Serbian Americans with each other and with the Las Vegas community! Thank you for having me, Dijana and Maya.

It’s no secret energy bills are too high in Nevada. That's why I introduced the #EnergyBillsReliefAct to expand access to cleaner, cheaper forms of energy and lower your electricity bills.

Sue Wagner leaves behind an incredible legacy that will not soon be forgotten. As Nevada’s first female elected Lieutenant Governor, she showed generations of women what was possible. She was a bipartisan leader and a champion for women’s freedoms. My heart is with her loved ones and the many Nevadans inspired by her life of service.

So glad I could sit down with some incredible women entrepreneurs and founders from across southern Nevada at Good Morning Kitchen. Their businesses are helping drive our local economy, and I’ll keep working to make sure women have the support and seat at the table they deserve.

Stopped by Revel Vegas Senior Living to have lunch with some awesome ladies and talk about the issues impacting older adults in southern Nevada and how my office can help. I’ll keep fighting to support our seniors and get them the resources they deserve!

Books can take you anywhere 📖 I had a great time meeting some 5th graders at Lucille S. Rogers Elementary School and reading to them during Nevada Reading Week last week. Reading helps strengthen your mind, makes you a better writer, and builds your imagination!

Horrified by today’s attack at Temple Israel in Michigan. No one should have to fear for their safety when they go to worship, and I’m grateful to the security personnel and first responders who acted so quickly to protect innocent lives. Antisemitism and violence have no place in our country. We must continue to stand against antisemitism and fight it wherever it occurs.

Happy 114th birthday, @GirlScouts!  From my days as a Brownie in Ohio to serving as a troop leader in Las Vegas, I’ve seen firsthand how Girl Scouts helps young people grow into confident, capable leaders. To every scout out there: champion your dreams and ambitions, and know that you are a true leader.

Nothing pisses people off more than seeing their electricity bill go up. The Trump Administration could lower prices TOMORROW if they stopped their war solar that is killing jobs and raising rates in Nevada.

This #WomensHistoryMonth, I’m honoring A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces! She is a four time winner of the WNBA Most Valuable Player Award and an all-round incredible athlete. A’ja has shown what excellence and determination look like at the highest level and is an inspiration to women and girls across our country. She makes Las Vegas proud on and off the court, and her impact on the game will be felt for generations.

I’m calling on House leaders to put the bipartisan Preventing Illegal Laboratories and Protecting Public Health Act on the floor for a vote.
