Friendly reminder to anyone not familiar with some of Jose Mourinho’s off-pitch behaviour, that he effectively ended the football club career of an excellent, highly respected doctor, Eva Carneiro, for absolutely no valid reason.

Alright here goes. For anyone that knows me, knows the special relationship I have with my Dad. He’s my role model, squad mate and best friend. Last month he was in a very serious car crash, arrived at hospital with an obscene injury list and has been fighting for his life in Intensive Care for nearly 5 weeks or so over Christmas and into the New Year. Today is a huge day as he makes the move OUT of intensive care and into a normal ward.  I wanted to post this just to make anyone aware that has followed my Dad / had a relationship with him, give him the public congratulations he deserves for being an incredible human and let anyone know why I dropped off the face of the earth from mid December. He has done so unbelievably well, under such horrible circumstances and I am so proud of his mental fortitude, continued kind spirit despite his own condition and finally just that classic Greg Bateman never say die attitude. I am so proud to be his son.  I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to family, friends and colleagues who have reached out, checked on him, offered support - it means the world. Long road ahead, but we’ll do it together 💪🏼❤️
