Trump isn’t ignoring Congress concerning his new EO. He knew they weren’t going to act. His EO perfectly tracks with existing federal law, law that none of our dumbass politicians cared to read. Now they are stuck.

Tomorrow, the Supreme Court will hear one of the most consequential cases of the last 50 years: Whether the 14th amendment grants birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens. When I worked in the first Trump admin, I drafted the original executive order ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens that ultimately went unsigned until the beginning of last year-- and now finds itself at the center of this case. To put it simply: President Trump has every single legal and historical precedent in his favor. When the 14th amendment's birthright citizenship clause was written, illegal immigration was a foreign concept. The 14th Amendment was specifically intended to clarify citizenship for the children of freed slaves. It did not guarantee that a 9-months pregnant Guatemalan could illegally cross the Rio Grande, give birth, and have their child considered an American citizen. The Left always cites the Wong Ark Kim case from 1898 to claim this as settled law, but that case did not apply to illegal aliens. The plaintiff was the son of one of the thousands of Chinese laborers who were brought legally to America during the 19th century to work on the transcontinental railroads. The Supreme Court has never adjudicated the question of whether children born within our borders to somebody who broke our nation's immigration laws are legal citizens. The answer is “no,” and the Court should absolutely uphold the President's executive order. We don't give citizenship to the children of foreign diplomats born in America. In the same way, we should not give citizenship to children of illegal aliens. No European country, not even the Vatican, grants birthright citizenship to children born to unlawful residents. Democrats are naturally freaking out about this case. Why? Because it's a terrifying prospect for the future of their party. They've seen the data showing how much population loss blue states have seen over the last few years. It's possible that California could lose up to six electoral votes in the next census. The only way they can maintain their power is by continually replacing the population with the children of illegals. It's one of the major pillars of Democrat power and it may just be coming to an end.

This is not a buffer zone. This is the erasure of 8 to 10 percent of a sovereign nation’s territory, ordered by a defence minister on live television, while the US president simultaneously says America is leaving the region. The second fracture is Lebanon. Eighteen A-10 Warthog close air support aircraft arrived at RAF Fairford and Lakenheath for Operation Epic Fury. The A-10 was designed in 1972 to destroy Soviet tanks in the Fulda Gap. It flies low. It flies slow. It kills things on the ground. It is the one aircraft in the American arsenal that has no function in a standoff air campaign. Its deployment means someone at the Pentagon is planning for the kind of close-in, low-altitude ground engagement that every podium statement says is not happening. Hegseth says no ground war. Trump says leaving in two weeks. And 18 tank killers just crossed the Atlantic. The aircraft contradicts the rhetoric. The third fracture is the strategy itself. Analysts warn gas prices could triple to 155 euros per megawatt-hour if the disruption continues past June. Trump told Europe to fend for itself on Hormuz while Europe’s energy survival depends on American fuel shipped through sea lanes America says it will no longer protect. The conventional war is won. Iran’s navy is destroyed. Its air force is grounded. Its launchers are 90 percent degraded. But the three wars it generated, the fracture of NATO, the occupation of southern Lebanon, and the collapse of the global energy guarantee, are just beginning. March 31 was not a day in the Iran war. Attackers exploited known vulnerabilities to install malware called AVrecon, turning compromised devices into residential proxies, essentially renting out access to your home network to criminals who use it to hide their identity online. The FBI estimates access to around 369,000 devices has been sold since 2020 across more than 160 countries. My Take The detail worth understanding here is what a residential proxy actually means for the people whose routers were compromised. Criminals pay for access to these devices specifically because traffic routed through a home router looks like a regular person browsing the internet rather than a server in a data center. Your router becomes cover for someone else's fraud, cyberattacks, or worse, and you have no idea it's happening because your internet still works fine. The FBI noted patches were already available for some of the vulnerabilities that were exploited. If your router is on this list, check the manufacturer's site for a firmware update. If it's old enough to no longer receive security patches, it's worth replacing reddgardless of whether it appears here specifically. Hedgie🤗
