This weeks Flashback Friday goes to one of the most underrated courses in the world. The Netherlands’ Utrecht de Pan is one of my favorite no frills, under the radar, world T100s. Colt masterfully routed this golf course a few years after helping Crump with PV. Must see #expand

Currently a little sloppy but here we go. Polos up top. QZs and vests below. Cashmere is properly folded in open air shelving on other wall

Ansley Golf Club (Settindown) re-opened last week. @jimryangcdesign shaped all the stunning bunkers - some of my favorite we’ve shaped 👌🏻 They were designed to match the natural beauty of the existing property and set the Club apart from everyone else in ATL. What do you think?

@gettodepth @cicioCASTRO Solid comments. On 10 we wanted it to play more of a par 4.5 and have people go for it (so it was different than 1/not a carbon copy). I think the water will loom more closely when firm/fast and the subtle spine in the green will be vexing when greens are speedier. Time will tell

@cicioCASTRO @TylerRaeDesign Reno is great! My only gripe is 10 now seems like a bit of a throwaway hole: hit the fairway, 5w to the front of the green. The fairway bunkering is superb and some of the mindless shots (drive on 13, approach on 5, drive on 2) are now big boy shots.

Settindown is BACK. It’s hard to take something that is already very good and well loved and make it better - but Tyler Rae did it.

@jamierkennedy 1) Morfontaine Valliere (Paris) is the best in the wold. Zero access = no one on X has seen it 2) Cruit Island (Donegal) is sublime 3) Culver Academies (Indiana) is bold 4) Dunes Club (Michigan) is pure 5) Fundy National Park (New Brunswick) is Stanley Thompson/very classy

@Charlie_Parxx Charlie, our latest project is at a municipal golf course and it is $35 to play on weekdays. We don’t discriminate 👌🏻

Old Sawmill Golf Club; Ridgeville, SC. Opening early November 2025. Maturing nicely, many thanks to Chris Fletcher, GCS and his incredible staff for the long days growing it in! No houses, no cart paths, just pure golf as it is meant to be.

Fun weekend project. Over the years, our greens slowly lost their shapes. We were able to find at least 2k ft of sod on some greens we can repurpose to reshape the majority of the back 9 greens to their original Ross shapes.

@M_dierdorff11 Matt, are you using the 10’ x 10’ grid as shown on the Ross drawings to physically scale off your dimensions with a 100’ tape to get the exact shape? The expansions are usually rather large and shapes robust.

Hyde Park G&CC in Cincinnati, OH. An amazing piece of land with the wildest ravines and coolest par threes you could ever imagine. Kudos to @pobrienhpgcc Arron Garrett, @mcdonaldgolfinc @JimRyanGCDesign HPGCC Agronomy team for many long days. All greens grassed can 👀 finish line
